How did it get launched if it's supposed to get the five thumbs up? Or has that not been implemented yet?
Fight smart, not fair.Because it was launched before that system was up? I'm so sorry about that. XP
With a "0", not an "O".The thumbs-up are implemented, but they haven't been set as a requirement for launching yet.
Rhymes with "Protracted."It's fine, it just needs a bit more time in the trope oven.
Fight smart, not fair.So.. KZN 02, since you seem to be the trope launcher, do you want to explain the trope so the description can be rewritten into something that makes sense?
Basically the idea was from the Suction Cups ability in Pokemon, holding your ground and not fleeing, pretty much the opposite of both Switch-Out Move for the player and You Will Not Evade Me on the player. Sorry if I don't make enough sense.

With a "0", not an "O".Ok.. I'm not familiar with the mechanics of pokemon to know what that does. If I'm understanding right though, based on Switch-Out Move, this is supposed to be when you would otherwise be forced to tag out a character, but they have a special ability that prevents it?
Looking at You Will Not Evade Me, it is explained as "This trope specifically refers to a case in which one fighter magically, psychically, or physically forces his or her target to move to the fighter's location", which I can't see a relation to this at all.
Looking at the examples for this trope... well, they're mostly pretty terrible if I'm understanding you right. In fact.. apart from the pokemon one, the only ones even close to the trope would be Warhammer40000 and Dawn Of War, and they're stretching quite a bit to fit. The Halo example doesn't give enough information to be sure of what it involves, and all the others are definitely something else.
I'm actually kind of wondering now if this might just be Too Rare To Trope.
It's a pretty Bad Snowclone either way, methinks.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Yeah, some examples are about preventing flinching. Ugh, this is getting way off. XP
With a "0", not an "O".Ok, original author agrees that the examples are mostly bad, and the more I look at it, the more convinced I am that only the pokemon one that the trope was built around is an actual example.
What should be done with it? Is it Too Rare To Trope, and should we cut it?

Probably too rare. XP
With a "0", not an "O".Ok. Adding it to the cutlist then.
Recently launched article, I Will Not Flee. Main body consists of a single, confused sentence. The entire description reads:
"So there's a situation where your character will flee, knocked out of, etc. A technique is required in order to hold your ground and/or carry on."
It looks like there's probably a trope there, but I'm not totally clear on the intended definition to try to rewrite it myself. Some of the examples seem kind of Square Peg Round Trope as well.
