What would your character do in the above situation?:

"Those who play with the devil's toys will be brought by degrees to wield his sword." - R. Buckminster Fuller
Intellectual Rock StarAddison would probably get toy cars for his little sister Addie. He doesn't know what she likes now, but she used to like toy cars right? Papercut would get Addison something that would remind him what to do. He's so forgetful! Verge doesn't really have someone special to get a present for... :( Your character is all alone on new years eve...
Heroine and LancerWarren would sit on his roof and play solitaire while watching the New Years Eve party take place. He wouldn't mind too badly; He has bigger things to do than party, and wouldn't let himself slack off even if his followers are- it'd be back to the normal routine the next day. This is nothing new for Daeda. He's always alone, being that most of the country doesn't even know he's alive. He'd probably spend the time sleeping, building new gadgets, and spying on the rocking party that is bound to be going on just upstairs. Your character finds themselves in a small, empty room with no windows or doors.
Maybe I'm a lion.Eveleen would assess the room, maybe take some reading to see if there is a door, but upon finding that the room has none, she'd consider other, less common forms of entry such as a transporter pad or even signs that the room was built around her while she was unconscious. Thurston would try to "make a new door" as it were with some explosives. Peter'd probably starve to death. Your character discovers a time machine.
I dreamt I was a moron.
Intellectual Rock StarAddison would go back and change history so he cared for his little sister Addie properly and she didn't have to be taken into care. Papercut would go back to early history... stab a few dinosaurs in the ankles... damage their foot bones... confuse a few archaeologists... Verge would go to the future to see if he has any descendants. He wouldn't expect to have any, but it's worth checking, if he did, it would mean it was seriously time to find a girlfriend. Your Character's friends set them up on a blind date.
This is a title.Gleipnir: Work it into his schedule on the off-chance that she will sleep with him.
Leyding: Fail to show up, as he's still uselessly pining for lost love from a decade previous.
Dromi: Also fail to show up, but because he's more interested in his work than in romantic entanglements. Your character bumps into the leader of the most powerful nation in the world at the local eatery

The madness is catching.
Intellectual Rock StarVerge would really have no reason to be at the café... seeming as he never seems to eat. Addison would avoid the president... he fainted in the same room as the mayor, so he's not got a good track record for meeting politicians. Papercut would ignore the president unless he accidently stood on her, then he would receive the normal, 'you stood on me' punishment, a ruined shoe and sock. Your character stumbles upon a crack fic involving their favourite characters

Maybe I'm a lion.Peter'd probably get a serious kick out of it. Unless it's about his favorite action star Dolph Lundgren, no one disses the Dolph. Your character spontaneously decides to take a vacation. Where would they go and what would they do there?
I dreamt I was a moron.
Intellectual Rock StarAddison would go to a big city, maybe New York, he wouldn't necessarily feel comfortable there, but he would like to feel the rush of a loud city for a while. The one the characters live in is pretty quiet. Papercut would go to New Zealand, she loves mountains and hot temperatures so there would be a lot of hiking in her itinerary. Verge would find a quiet place in the Scottish countryside and just relax as much as he possibly could. Your character finds a mysterious ring.
Gabriel tests it to see if it is either magical or alien technology. If it isn't, he throws it away. Your character is tasked with preparing for the zombie apocalypse.
Ghost Sword Dual WieldingReanimated humans are actually pretty common in Helgaia. They don't ever prove much of a threat anymore, so outright extermination isn't necessary. They don't require to be killed by destroying the head, a good beating/maiming is usually enough. Samifer, our NB protagonist, can usually deal a good beating to multiple zombies at once, so preparation is actually unnecessary. Your character is given the opportunity to explore the universe.
"If the initial explosion won't kill us, the second probably will. Also, there will be two explosions."
Maybe I'm a lion.Eveleen would gladly explore the universe, as she's always eager to broaden her horizons. Peter'd go, if only to outdo Kirk in interstellar lechery. Stormy wouldn't go, as she feels her work on earth is too important to abandon on a mere whim. Your character wants to be alone, where do they go?
I dreamt I was a moron.
Intellectual Rock StarAddison would go to the apartment building's basement - If it smelt okay... Papercut would go to her den. No one's allowed in there but her. Verge would go to the roof of the apartment building, but he lives alone anyway. Your character comes across a huge living statue
Guy would see if it were hostile. If it was, he would attack it. Yu would poke it with his sword. If it attacked, he would try to destroy it. Leon would try to communicate with it. Anya would announce her intent to move beyond it and attempt to do so. Your character gets caught up in a bank robbery

Maybe I'm a lion.Peter would try to find a way to make off with some money and blame it on the robbers. Ben would keep down until the craziness was over. Stormy would try to break up the robbers with a few well placed words here and there, and maybe some fists elsewhere. Your character learns that their best friend is keeping a secret from them.
I dreamt I was a moron.
Guy would try to find out the secret, or let the friend tell it to them on their own. (this has happened to him before) Yu would bother the friend until they revealed their secret. Leon would let it slide. Anya would try to find out the secret, but not persist in investigating it if she doesn't discover it initially. The character's best friend has lost their legs

Gabriel would laugh at him and make some bad jokes. (They'll grow back) Your character finds out that the main villain is their father

Guy would be astonished, and question both this and previous happenings (his father's been dead since before he was born) Yu would immediately attempt to incapacitate-but not kill-his father, then question him on what happened. Leon would try to reason with his father. Anya would challenge her father to a duel. Your character is stuck on a remote island.

Maybe I'm a lion.Eveleen tends to prefer having technology, so having to start from scratch she'd work to get a shelter with working electricity built. Soon her island would be brimming with MacGyvered contraptions ranging from automatic fish collection systems run by a Rube Goldberg machine, to a working computer made out of food refuse, among other things. Peter would declare himself king of the island and would probably attempt to enslave any other castaways/local peoples. No one would take him seriously though and make him work on laundry and toilet digging. Your character is framed for a friend's murder.
I dreamt I was a moron.
Gabriel is going on a roaring rampage of revenge. Also, nobody buys the framejob because A) they all know that Gabriel wouldn't lie about it, as he already does way worse and gets away with it, and B) nobody important would really care that any of his friends were killed anyway. Your character finds out that Lifetime is making an original movie about him
Harold would be thrilled to be on TV until he read the script and found that it paints him as a villain. Jacinda would feel the same way until she finds out that her character gets beaten and raped. Dearg would probably find it a little funny that he has a movie on the Wife Beater Channel, and treat the whole thing as a joke. Your character finds a genie willing to grant three wishes. No telling if genie is good and will give character what s/he wants or will be the kind of genie that twists wishes. Do they use the genie or not?

Guy doesn't have much to wish for, so he does not use the genie. Yu would initially be skeptical of the genie, use it once, and use it again if his first wish doesn't go as expected. Leon wouldn't need to use the genie. Neither would Anya. Your character's best friend is up for ransom.

Winter and SummerThis has happened in AC's canon before, the best friend in question is Calia, the president's young daughter whom he's supposed to guard. He'll go over to the bad guys to "pay" the ransom in exchange for hostage, then slaughter all the kidnappers. (In the game, this is the tutorial level) Calia (adult) would also do something similar. She'd bring a squad of Gifted soldiers like her- if AC managed to get kidnapped, then his kidnappers must be really powerful. Your character is queuing at a shop/fast food restaurant with a single open counter and the cashier is taking a really long time serving the person in front of them.
To save the planet from ourselves, we choose to protect it from enemies.
Just about all of my notable characters except for Langston and Malachai would wait patiently. Both characters mentioned would quickly grow impatient. Your character is on a sinking boat and the coast guard shows no signs of showing up.
Intellectual Rock StarAddison would panic, he can't swim, so he would most likely drive everyone else nuts. Papercut would be fine, she can swim, she's been thrown into water so many times she's practically grown gills. Verge has had this happen to him. He walked ashore.
