Character Development Thread--Discussion

There's plenty else to be added under Ragtag Bunch of Misfits, I think. By the by.

The last couple days have been really busy, apologies for the choppy posts. Though I'm beginning to think it's a mix of that, the other story I'm writing for my Wattpad for Tsadro, or the fact that writing him for the CDTs is proving to be harder than writing him for the story. Maybe I don't actually know him well enough because he's so new, maybe it's his speaking style and notably different thought processes compared to my other characters, maybe he's one of those characters who just plain needs a lot of time and work whenever he appears. I dunno.

Holy fuck I completely forgot about Echo I'm so sorry!

I can't promise anything tonight, and tomorrow will be busy, but over the weekend, I will get back to her.

So I've ordered a new computer, which is set to arrive in a week. Once it does, I'll probably finally get around to joining Frontier. I'll take the time in the meantime to think about who I'll use.

Glad to hear you'll be getting back online properly soon.

On a related note. I'm going away for the weekend (New Zealand time) and most likely won't get the opportunity to get online unless I use my phone so I'm not sure how frequently I'll be online, let alone to post.

Side note: Portal 2 is better at keeping my attention than the first game.

I'll try to catch up in Capital this weekend since it's longer.

I was sick yesterday (feeling a bit better, but loads of sneezing), but I should be able to post later on.

In early retrospect, I should've had the APO position themselves between Samuel and the others, and then show the goods.

I'm thinking of adding a character or two to Frontier to help deal with the demon crisis and to stick around after that, but I'm kind of unsure.

I'm gonna wait on Masterofchaos before posting for Howell again. Waiting elsewhere too. Going to be hanging out for a friend most of the weekend though, so that's sure to disrupt my rate of posting.

Sorry I haven't posted about this earlier but I probably won't be posting until maybe Sunday cause I'm at an anime convention this weekend.

Btw @daird: The stranger, Crowe, is only talking to Brin. Hoshi's still with Miyuki and Suela.

Finally back but too knackered to think straight and make a decent post. So far this weekend I've had two 360km hitchhikes and a 100km round trip drive to pick up my kids.

Should be able to catch up after work tomorrow.

For the record, I do not yet have any idea who makes up the bandit camp — am scheming, but also open to suggestions.

About how far away are the bandits, currently?

In case it isn't obvious, Carsten's name isn't written anywhere; it's just a nickname for 'C-7' — seven letters and starts with a C.

Also, I've gotten just a tiny bit nauseous, so my posting rate will be intentionally affected for the sake of my health.

I had initially been thinking half a kilometer, but that feels wrong now I seriously consider it. I'll edit my post to reflect, but a couple kilometers feels about right. Kilometer and a half into the forest, some extra distance of plains.

@Sphinxyness: Out of curiosity, how close would you say Kyana is to Lara and the others?

@Wolf I've posted to capital and while I'm not sure what I'm doing I'm starting to hide a few things in there about Henry I want to see if you can catch on to without me revealing it.

Kyana and the guy she's after are in the northwest area of the park, near the central canal (kind of around here, but closer to the leftmost edge, and maybe closer to the center at this point.) If Lara and the others are headed to the national museum, then they'll be moving away from Kyana. She did have a fire going earlier for a brief time, but I don't know that it would've produced any smoke.

I'm having a hard time not laughing at the idea that the 'trouble' in the pub might ever lead to a situation that would call for the use of a gun. It's little more than a lesson in manners.
