Toasted Buns seems to be a page to complain about one specific impossibility in jetpacks. Unless I'm missing something (and based on the list it has now), it's inevitably intended to contain every single example of a jetpack in fiction as either an example or an aversion.

Or, in other words, how does the list of works in Toasted Buns differ from the broader list in Jet Pack? Is there anything that would be listed in one and not the other? If that's the case, shouldn't it just be a note on Jet Pack rather than its own page?

Alternatively, should the criteria for inclusion in Toasted Buns just be revised?

We don't have a Jet Pack trope yet?

Oh, wait, there it is.

Huh, I thought Toasted Buns was a redirect for Pants On Fire. Shows what I know.

Rhymes with "Protracted."

Aquillion, maybe it would be a good idea to keep the Toasted Buns trope and just only leave the examples where the trope is specifically mentioned in the work (like the Deadlands example) rather than situations where any example of a jet pack could be mentioned.

I wonder if Toasted Buns is really a good name though. I may just be missing something, but I do not typically associate the phrase "toasted buns" with jet packs.

[up] It is actually a phrase associated with Jet Packs and the fact that traditionally it's shooting fire at the wearer's ass.
