Picked up X 3 TC recently. This series is a lot of fun actually. Single-player EVE is an apt comparison.

a youtube guide I used to get started and our page on the work.
Used a cheat script to essentially by-pass the hub plot since that sounded really fucking tedious. Also gifted myself the money needed for the new home plot. Rather then that it's been a legit play-through though.
So now I have my own sector of space with an HQ sitting in it, two station transports, more then a dozen ST and UT, a half dozen stations and no idea on what to do next.
I was thinking of selling the orca then reinvesting the cash into an M 7 M for general murder and boarding ops. It sounds like quite a lot of fun and profit. Assuming that you can sell the ships you've stolen, including pirate ships. Which upon reflection is a rather large assumption. I'll look that up. Eventually.

^ Thanks for the guide, I tried to get into X3 Reunion and just can't get into it...so freaking complex...
I'm just wondering if Rebirth will be a bit more accessible or not...I really want to get into the game...after all currently there's so few good space sim game out there right now...
