Fixing awkward Wiki Wording

I recall there used to be a thread on this, but I'm not sure what happened to it.

Several tropes have their prefix treated as a separate word from the base (e.g., Mis-blamed, Retcon). While this can be somewhat rectified by putting the full word on a page, those names look awful and the search engines treat them as default. Is there a way to restore them to their proper wording on the actual trope page?

That would be an Eddie thing. I've asked for a tool that would allow tropers to suggest such a thing (or to allow moderators to fix situations reported with the page flagging system), but I know it's a very low priority.

That's what Custom displays do.

I've fixed those two. Any more that you notice, please use the "Customize Title" tool in the Tools Sidebar.

The custom display affects how the title is seen, yes, but they don't affect the search results.

Sure they do. It just takes a while for google to pick up the change.

Is it the same for our internal search? Because I haven't had any luck picking up on the new titles there.

No, internal search does not know from custom titles.

Ok, cool, so I'm not going crazy. [lol]

I'm mainly interested in this because I have a habit of using the internal search to determine the "canonical" capitalization of titles. Oh, well, guess it's time to switch to the Google.
