GG is not that bad', so there's no reason to avoid them if you don't have to.
Well, they clearly provide a convenient topic of conversation when we've run out of episodes to discuss, regardless of the quality of their work.

Play Again? Y/NSO.
MENMA.
SHE'S PRETTY CUTE, HUH?
I have to say, for what is predicted to be a 12-episode series, they've made disconcertingly little progress on finding out what her wish actually was...
Play Again? Y/NSeems like the kind of thing they'll find out right at the end.
I wouldn't really mind, as long it's not sprung on us out of nowhere.
Play Again? Y/NI'm going to take a stab at it and assume it has something to do with this:
We Still do not Know the Name of the Flower we Saw that Day
I'd imagine they would be accidentally in the process of resolving it at the time. Doesn't seem like the kind of thing that would require them to run around doing stuff, so much as some kind of emotional catharsis.
The flower is probably an allegory for the wish.
You could easily retitle it We Still Do Not Know The Wish We Made That Day.
Play Again? Y/NSomehow I doubt this will end with them looking up flowers in the library or on wikipedia.
'''MENMA. SHE'S PRETTY CUTE, HUH?'''
Not really.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntBut do they actually have an incentive to fulfill Menma's wish? The assumption is that she will simply stay around as long as her wish is unfulfilled. It's a bit sad having her as a ghost but on the other hand, Jintan probably does not want to let her go.
Sorry, but The Other Wiki says that it's going to have 11 episodes. *
Well, it seems that they might fulfill her wish accidentally as the gang mends their friendships with each other. The one thing that bugs me though is the fact that Jinta still can't tell Menma that he's sorry.

Follow me on tumblr!Episode 7 was awesome. I wonder if the fireworks really do have anything to do with Menma's wish.
noitaminA shows are basically always 11 episodes, 22 if they are two cour. See Fractale and Hourou Musuko from last season.
Anyway, fireworks huh? And Menma's dad is in the way.
And what the hell is up with Menma's mom?
She must've been stalking Jintan and the others lol
Oh Gods, this episode...
I never expected Menma´s mother to break like that in front of them.
On the other hand... finally Menma proves her existence to the group just when they were at their limit. The ending was just perfect with what was happening in that scene.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Damn I can't wait for the next episode. Arghhhhh.
I cried.
Hmmm this makes me think... how would things be if it was Jintan and not Menma the one that died?
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Jintan probably wouldn't bother Menma (or whichever of the gang gets to see him) with his wish, and would be annoyed at getting help for passing on as he'd feel like a burden.
Maybe.
Maybe he would be trying to help them. Though we have to take into account that now Jintan would be the one who never grew up.
Though that scenario makes me incredibly sad just thinking about his dad. I don't know how the man would have coped with losing both his wife and child almost at the same time.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.I'm not sure if this show will have a happy ending.
Almost certainly going to be bittersweet. Very surprised if it'd be an outright Downer Ending though.

Right, because totally none of the other groups subbing things have been around for a year or more.
GG is not that good. They aren't terrible, but there is no reason to support their shit if you don't have to.
