For Pheobe vs Lance, I'm voting for the latter. Lance is simply too powerful, and Champion trumps E4 member.

I would agree, but I'm of the opinion that Lance inherited the Chapmion role when Blue left.

Although I do think that Lance would win anyway.

Dragon vs. Ghost seems like a fair matchup.

What's Phoebe's type?

So long as it isn't Ice, Lance will probably win.

What about him? His first battle was one with a very obvious result, so there's no point in me posting it for you consideration. I've decided a lot of them on my own. It's when it's too close for me to call, or feel comfortable deciding on my own, that I bring it here.

Red's first battle was Professor Ivy, if you're curious.

I think that Anom should fight Misty later on. Remeber, he has an all Bug-Pokemon team, and Misty is terrified of them.

Fights are decided by random placement in a tournament bracket. There are 8 rounds, if anyone is interested.

I gave Blue a by through to the quarter-finals after the second round, since he was going to be making it there anyway based on the bracket, and he was randomly sorted to the bottom, making it convenient in terms of design for it to be him. I'm working on justifying it in-universe (I have a couple ideas).

I'm planning on having Jane get pretty far before she starts getting bored and resigns.

I bet I know exactly when she'll resign. It's one of the reasons that I don't want to show everyone the bracket right away. (The other one has to do with Gamer).

But how does 228 fit evenly into 8 rounds? Do some start at Round 2 instead?

She won't resign because she's about to fight someone tough, though. She'll probably resign after she fights at least three 'easy' fights in a row and decides that someone else deserves the title more than her.

• 228 / 2 = 114
• 114 / 2 = 57 - Blue
• 56 / 2 = 28
• 28 / 2 = 14
• 14 / 2 = 7 + Blue
• 8 / 2 = 4
• etc.

Would you mind sending me a list of the participants? Not the bracket itself, just a nice list of those in it. Unless it's confidential...
