Alphos: Ahem...

Recently, I tried to essentially Ret Gone the characters controlled by Luke. I realize now that was kind of a dick move, and I apologize heavily for it. Which brings me to another concern...

On me interfering and being Stuish

Yeah, that's right. I admit it. I'm an unlikable Stu. That little stunt didn't help my reputation as such. Which is why I'm making some... resolutions.

I'm sticking to my own multiverse, for the most part, until it actually becomes a physical work of fiction at least. All attempts to screw with established franchises have ended badly. (Anyone who has had the misfortune to read my author's crash-and-burn attempt at a KH fic should know what I'm talking about.)

"But oh high and mighty Alphos!" you say. "You're already cameoing as Bahamut the Giratina plushie!" Well, my author would retcon that, but there's the matter of April Fools day, and it just genrally seems like a copout. So I will stay, but not interfere at all, except for possible future April Fools days and one scene in AU!Umbra's dreams, which my author will clarify if necessary.

After a while of thinking, I decided the number 4 will be a significant number to Alli. Why? Well... take a look at all these instances of 4 in her character as of now:

• Alli:
  • Her name is four letters.
    • Her Identical Ancestor, Lina, also has a four-letter name.
  • She was born November 8, 1998 - exactly 444 days after Eskay.
  • Her starter, Adelinda...
    • Has a four-syllable name
    • Has a four-letter nickname
    • Was given to her by Lance, the fourth member of the original Elite Four
    • Was given to her four years prior to her introduction
    • Was introduced as a Gabite - #444
    • Is a Gen 4 mon
    • Is a species that has four sprites in every game it exists in
  • All of her other mons have four-letter nicknames as well (Nom Bomb will be shortened to just "Bomb", and Linux to "Linn")
  • She was introduced at age 13 (1 + 3 = 4)
  • Her Pokeform is Meowth, #52 (4 x 13 = 52, see above about 13)
  • At the moment of the whole four-for-Alli decision, she has 4 mons.

Some of this stuff (specifically her birthday) was created after the decision, but still, enough was done unintentially to make it more than a bit interesting.

Thoughts? Ideas? Etc.?

An Arc Number for Alli? Sounds cool to me.

I was considering doing the same thing with Pent for 5, but other than the name I have no evidence.

Then start messing with him until you have it that way, of course.
EDIT: OK, Gah. I can't keep up. Especially if the people I interact with go away and do something else while I sleep — ie, it feels like Fal and co. are moving in a different pace than, say, Onion and co.

-hugs- Sorry about that... Onion and co are still in the same place as Fal and co, though, and I wouldn't just take him away from there while you're not present. I think the pace is probably just due to timezones, seeing as because of time difference and things like school the only common RP time between us are is between about 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM my time, ending just about now before I have to leave.
