Pokesona Plot Alert!

Time to move the Pokesona plot again! Unlike last time, which was more reaction based, the second Guardian will be a full out battle.

As such, I want to make sure it's a good time for the most people; so which day would Pokesona players prefer? Friday the 3rd of March (Remember that The release day of the Switch and BotW), or the 10th of March?

Once we have determined a date, I highly recommend thinking about how to get your Character(s) to resonate with their masks so they can attain their Ultimate Personas.

Remember, all characters attaining their Ultimate Personas is VITAL to the final battle against Izanami - for reasons that should NOT be spoiled.

10th of March. I have a workshop thing that'll keep me busy for most of the day Friday-Sunday next week, so probably couldn't participate much.

Granted, I'll also have birthday stuff at some point the week of the 10th, but I should be more available regardless.

So, earlier this month I made the official announcement that, after his battle with Scott, I am officially concluding Kaito's story arc and retiring him as a character, and any future appearances will be as a recurring NPC rather than as a player character. No more stories featuring him.

Of course, this means things are significantly different circumstances than when I asked a year or so ago, so I'm gonna ask again: given that he's officially retiring, should he become an Actual Official Frontier Brain as an immediate result of his battle against Scott? Since I'm on the last stretch of writing the post, I still have yet to write whether he wins or loses, and if we do decide he wins, I'd much rather it be a final step in the process rather than "Well, you're definitely going to be a Brain, buuuuuut not yet", so if we do decide he shouldn't be one officially yet, I'm going to write it as a loss.

Of course, it'll certainly still take time to decide exactly what his role as a Frontier Brain is going to be, but in the meantime, regardless of whether he's official or not, I was going to have him fill in as the head of the Battle Tower so that Anabel would be able to focus on Interpol stuff in Alola. (And when she returns to the Battle Frontier again, I had the idea that Kaito would essentially become a wandering trainer that people would have to find throughout the region in order to face him for his Frontier Symbol.)

So, thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

On the note of the Amarins and the Scott fight I was talking to Bitters and I decided once the battle concluded Alli would spice up Operation Legacy by joining Locke as a temporary PC for the story arc. This is partially because Alli had a suprisingly fun dynamic with Locke when they interacted breifly today, but also because Bitters let me take over Alli in the first place in hopes I'd get more mileage with her than she did.

Now for this Alli's going to have a brand new Alola team, starting with Gerald, the Popplio she was seen to have today, and eventually including an Alolan Grimer, Mimikyu, and Passimian. However, other than that, I'm open to suggestions, so hit me!

2017 Eclipse Meetup!

For those who don't know, the 2017 Eclipse meetup is an event being organized by Tangent and to some extent me and my parents where as many of us as possible meet up IN REAL LIFE in August and go see Yellowstone and a nearby solar eclipse!

Weeeeeell we have a special Trello board for organizing and scheduling things. It may need some updating after this post though.

Well, where are we all staying up there?

After much pestering on my part, my mother has graciously rented out a very nice cabin in the Grand Tetons with eight beds and plenty of room for sleeping bags, as well as a large vehicle for transport. For those of you who can live off less luxurious accommodations, Tangent thinks he can get campgrounds near Yellowstone. It is entirely possible for any split groups to meet up if necessary.

Okay, who's going?

At the moment, me, my parents, and Tangent are the only real shoe-ins. Pippi says they can make it as long as a concurrent trip to the UK is worked around (though Pippi, you might want to explain the fine deets) and Silent plus a friend from outside the RP want to go but will have to deal with international airfares. Anyone else will have to re-state their availability here since it's been awhile since we last checked.
