Comparing to other animes of this season is it What the hellish as Dog Days, or as Ore Tachi Ni Tsubasa Wa Nai?

I've only heard of the former and haven't seen the latter. Let me instead sum it up with a handy-dandy image macro:

Try "Serial Experiments Lain meets Psyren." At least, that is my initial reaction, even if it is not a good description.

Yeah, we need another episode to explain what is going on. First episode takes the "Show, Don't Tell" route with a Mind Screw show, so expect your mind to be screwed. Next episode will be explaining the situation to the main character, so hopefully it will make more sense afterwards.

Seriously though. When I saw the first few opening minutes, everything seemed to point to Yugioh with economics.

But it is so much weirder than that.

Weirdness aside, Is it any good? I'm watching a movie on youtube and have a Crap internet conection so I have to wait a while to see it.

Um... That question is un-answerable at this time. It was eye-catching and impressive, but I honestly can't tell if the show is "good" at this point.

Interesting, but this episode was basically just set up. Well made, though

Msakaki is cool though. He's like a mix of Mephisto, Willy Wonka and Donald Trump.

Just started the first episode, and that is the most goddamn evil sounding ATM I have ever heard; I'm just waiting for it to ask the guy to feed it a stray cat.
