Oh bloody hell. Isn't everybody over this series by now? The first game was novel enough in concept, but they didn't need to do a second, and they certainly don't need this third one.

First one was actually pretty decent, except complete murder on my arms. Didn't play the second one. Unsure about this one.

Considering Mario and Sonic platformers play differently, any ideas as to how that would work?

They don't play that differently.

Whitewater Canoe/Kayak, Mountain Biking + Motocross, and Dream Modern Pentathlon, or I'm not buying.

Have separate Mario and Sonic levels - Mario plays like Mario, Sonic plays like Sonic. Have some elements and bosses be reimagined to fit into the others' style.

Anyways, I don't see any problem with continuing this series. Granted, I've never played it more than a little, but a successful series is a successful series - you don't stop those just because you've reached a certain amount of games. Especially one with such an easily revisitable premise: just crank out a new one every four years.

Though the fact that the second game's music, which features a ton more awesome rearrangements, has enchanted me to the idea of the Sonic Team Sound Team taking a crack at Mario tunes, and vice versa (the only thing I didn't like about that soundtrack was the comparative lack of Sonic rearrangements, something I disliked in Brawl as well).

I just know everyone in here is going to get thumped, but...

Will this cross over with Mortal Kombat? Will it be ported to Xbox360 and PS 3? And will we finally be able to make Knuckles snuggle with Rouge?

...Good times, man. Good times.

A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail.

Miru is a bit of a standout as a troll. Instead of sowing the seeds of chaos wherever he goes, he seems to like filling our heads with extremely baffling concepts and just excessive amounts of whatthefuckery to have us scratching our heads.

Regardless, it'll probably still be the best 2012 Olympic Games game. lol Not that I'm setting the bar high or anything...

He hasn't created another trollthread yet. I dunno why people still bother with him.

He's so darn interesting.

Back on topic, I sure hope that there will be more Dream Events. They're literally the best things about the games.

In all fairness, I like the Mario & Sonic series as well, especially the Winter Olympics.

Also, to add something to my previous post, I'd also like to have an actual story this time around. I mean, it wouldn't hurt to have the Mario and Sonic characters actually interact with each other, right?
