"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Skullo Dreams is the best attack ever. It makes me weep openly that Capcom hasn't bought the character yet. Someone find out how much it would cost. WE HAVE A CHARITY TO RUN!
And yes, Skullomania is an homage/expy/whatever the fuck of the typical Kamen Rider.
Badass kung fu based around flying kicks and punches. Check.
Badass mask. Check.
Badass scarf. Check.
Badass belt. Check.
Badass badassery. Check!
^^ Oh man, I had almost forgotten how much I love Skullo's theme. Another awesome version.
^ Nothing much else to say but what's already been said. Definitely the best thing about that game.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm okay with Cole, he meshes pretty well. Just hoping this doesn't incite a Guest Fighter arms race with Namco, we all know how crazy they're willing to get. That being said, come on Little Mac for Cafe/3DS!
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.I'll say this. Cole is not the worst candidate they could have used as a guest, but he's far from being the best as well.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadObligatory MEGA MAAAAAAAAAAAN post
I approve. 8D
Seriously though, I wonder how much it would take to buy Skullomania for Capcom and if its in the realm of possibility for fans to amass such a total...
I would laugh if it turned out to be some really meager sum, Like a thousand US dollars. Or 5 yen.
That would be AWESOME, but really unlikely.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireI love that they used Cole. It's such an odd choice. I mean, Kratos in Mortal kombat everyone knows how he'll play. Cole Mac Grath in Street Fighter? No one would see that coming, not too mention no one would know how he'd play.
“My body is ready. I’m gonna take your names, take your ass, and then we’ll be making games”. - Reggie Fils-Aime, CEO of Nintendo AmericaHopefully, nothing too much like Infamous. Nothing says "fighting game" like shooting lightning from your hands for around 6 hours with only minor excursions to the rest of your move-set.
Oh wait...

You might say he odesn't mesh well, but, Blanka. I rest my case.
Really, who else do you think would work better? What, you want them to include Nathan Drake? Jak? Dan Fortesque? Sweet Tooth? Ico?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! At this rate, miru will enter this thread and suggest Rouge.
Wait for it...
A good writer puts in a lot of details in there story. But a great one gets a story from a single detail. No one. Because this is Street Fighter x Tekken, goddamnit, not Street Fighter & Tekken Take On All Newcomers. His presence takes away from the concept of having two Dueling Games finally going at it. As much flak as Kratos got, at least he meshed well with the hyper-bloody gorefest that is Mortal Kombat and he was a non-plot entity. Besides, if we were being realistic here, Cole could easily solo most of the two universes. Where's the fun in that?

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadCole Mcgrath soloing both Tekken and Street Fighter? I think your forgeting that in Street fighter, Akuma sunk an island with one kick, split Ayer's Rock in half with his fist, and Shoryukened a meteor In Capcom Fighting Evolution at full Shin akuma power. While bryan Fury takes out military convoys like no tommorow, Feng Wei can punch down mountains and punch giant balls of lava flying at him and disentigrate them. Don't even get me started on Tekken 5's Devil Jin ending:

(sigh)
1) I said most. I have a good understanding of how Power Levels work in both verses, thankyouverymuch.
2) You're missing the point. Power Creep, Power Seep is obviously going to come into effect here, but that wasn't the focus of my post.

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadAnd not to mention Oro being immortal and so powerful he lifts opne of the biggest boulders ever with a finger. Cole Mcgrath is impressive, but many street fighter and Tekken characters can keep up with him. So most is a bit of an Over Statement.
You mentioned five guys out of at least 70+ possible characters to choose from. It's not an overstatement. You saying most of the cast of SF and Tekken could keep up with him is more of an overstatement than what I said.

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadBeause Cole Mcgrath has no real Martial arts training other than Le Parkour. No to mention his melee combat before Infamous 2 is rather lacking.
Again... martial arts experience is not the main point of my argument. Miguel from Tekken 6 wiped the floor with Jin's Tekken Force; he had no formal training (he's essentially a self-taught brawler), they were handpicked by Heihachi. So don't use that to justify anything. Plus, it's not like Cole's powers aren't going to make up for whatever he's lacking in terms of fighting prowess. But I digress. This really is not the point I was trying to make.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadEnough. Have some gameplay
