My thoughts:
Jesus Abel's accent thick enough to cut through butter. I guess they're trying to make up for Not Even Bothering with the Accent in Street Fighter 4 by having him throw Gratuitous French here.
Ryu and Guile keep their projectile supers? That...kinda sucks. I was expecting the more flashier ones to come through.
Kazuya's BEHOLD! OPTIC BLAST! made me lol. They're really pushing this eye laser stuff. Seriously, he's firing it almost as liberally as Kano. Though the move did remind me more of Iron Man's Uni-Beam finisher from Marvel Nemesis Rise Of The Imperfects.
DAMN, King can get some mad air. I know the Tekken guys are probably exaggerated to compete with Street Fighter but shit man.
Of course Marduk's super is bashing the guy repeatedly on the ground. Damn that's gotta hurt though.
The English VA for Hwoarang suits him pretty well. Gives him s proper cocky attitude. And holy shit is that the mother of all axe kicks.

Now we need Sakura and Karin.
With exactly the same moves, character model, voice, and win quotes.
First lifebar name-swap in modern fighting games.
Except [condescending response follows]. Because [sarcasm here]. You do understand [snark], right? POTHOLE TO SARCASM MODEI wonder if they will bother with Akuma or not, this time round.
Maybe have Akuma fight Heihachi or something. Maybe add in Devil Jinpachi, maybe?

As a native French-speaker, I rolled my eyes when I heard Abel's French voice.
Really, "En garde s'il vous plaît" ("En garde, please"), that's the best you can come up with? Just throw a few "Oui oui, mon ami" and "Mademoiselle" here and there, and you'll have the complete set of cliché French sentence that everyone can understand. "En garde" is traditionnaly a fencing term, god dammit, Abel don't fence!
That ranting apart, the game looks sweet. Maybe a little too much camera moves and flashing effects for my tastes, but still neat. And Hwoarang's moves are juste the kind I like in a fighting game. I can't wait to see what's next. Was there any release date announced for the game that I've missed?
Nope, just that it's releasing in 2012.
We'll be getting more character reveals at Comic Con.
Asuka and Lili are in? Sweet, that's my tag-team decided then.
Seriously, even though they're two of my favourite characters I wasn't expecting them to make the cut. This was quite a pleasant surprise.
"If you are going through hell, keep going." - Winston ChurchillTeam Cammy and Lili: Dat Ass and those legs.
Don't know about Asuka, but Lili is one of, if not the most popular character of the newer fighters introduced in the later Tekken games.
I'm not all that surprised she made the cut.
Dhalsim is going to be one of the hardest characters to implement successfully, I think. He's a pure zoner in a game with characters that never experienced something like that before.
Is she? The Tekken fanbase is a lot harder to read than other fighting game groups. All i know from it is "King is awesome" and "Hwoarang is hard to pronounce."

Bleye knows Sabers.
Eddy was added back to 5's roster after fan outcry about Christie replacing him, but do you know if either of them are popular enough for this game?

I give Eddie a 75% chance of making it in. He's the Ken of the series in that he's very easy to spam.
Paul has 100%. Everyone likes Paul.
I'd rather have Christie then Eddie. Because she has boobs.
I am a terrible person.
Bleye knows Sabers.
But isn't Ken used by everybody because he's really good, too? The Capos are low-to-mid tier in every game they've been in.
Than you'd probably want the original fanservice Capoerista. Elena plays different enough from Tekken's Capos that I see them both fitting in.
I want Roger, Kuma, and/or Miguel. Hwoarang and King are already in, so yeah.
I want Q on the Street Fighter side. Something tells me he'd just work, somehow. Maybe Sean and Necro. Dee Jay, as well. Makoto too.
And Gen. Gotta have that Gen.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yay i missed the first one.
Bleye knows Sabers.I wish people would stop skipping the victory quotes, I'm a fan of them.
This one from Ken against King is my favorite (Though I might get this one wrong.)
"If I can't see your eyes through that mask, I can't tell if you're unconscious or not. Yes? No?"
It's more frustrating waiting for the asskicking than the asskicking itself.I know if Marduk beats Sagat, he him props.
The stream is featuring SFxT again!
