Eh, I loved the Kimi Ni Todoke parody in the beginning of the latest episode. Mostly because Switch makes everything more awesome, so him pulling double duty as both Yano and Yoshida was just hilarious.

The rest of the episode was okay, I guess.

Whoa, this is deep in the archives. Anyways, the latest episode was awesome. Finally giving background to Switch (funny to see him talk without the computer), and instead of going the comedy route, it's becoming rather serious and disturbing.

If you read the manga, you already know how this will end...

Wait, you mean that we finally got a good episode this week ?

... Darn, I just dropped this last week. I guess one more episode can't hurt...

And...the latest episode went well without too much of a hitch. Now the people who don't read the manga know why Switch doesn't talk, and I'm laughing at anybody who now sees his current behavior as disturbing. grin

I... was not expecting this. Well played, show.

On the other hand, while this was quite a good story, it makes the usual SKET Dance fare look all the more lackluster in comparison. I think it's better I just stop watching here, on this high note. (Especially as I have no interest whatsoever in next week's Gintama crossover.)

So, you mean the show actually picked up? How was it from ep 16 to ep 23? I might pick it up again and see how good the last two episodes were. Also, how many episodes it's going to have?

There wasn't much worth watching after episode #13, to be honest (that's why I finally got fed up and dropped it with #23). The second half of #24 and the whole of #25 deal with Switch's backstory, and are very good indeed (the first half of #24 is the usual "mildly funny at best" nonsense, you can skip it).

This is a daytime shounen show (airing at 6pm), it'll run about forever unless the ratings drop too much.

[up]Yeah, I dropped it becuase I figure it would be a Long Runner so it was better to drop it early on. Anyway, is there anything worth looking at on episodes 16 through 23, or could I just skip them and watch 24 and 25?

I don't remember anything really worth watching there, to be honest.

[up][up]Episode 16-17 had the concert episodes, which I thought were good. I liked Episode 21 alot, as it provided a new spin on a boy taking a girl out and giving her a makeover. Other than that, it's the usual Sket Dance fare, and those can be pretty varied.

[up]And yeah, I can understand leaving on the high note. I think Switch's story was the reason people started to pay so much attention to Sket Dance, to be honest. It was like the Arlong Park arc of One Piece.
