@Joesolo: Probably because it's hard to manufacture in large quantities.

Anywho, according to the episode guide, it seems there's some animosity brewing between Anakin and the Jedi Council. Look here, under "Relationships":!/about

"Anakin Skywalker is furious thar Rako Hardeen, Obi-Wan's killer, has escaped. The Jedi Council will not send him to apprehend the killer, and won't inform him of their plans, much to his frustration."

And if you click on Palpatine, it says: "Chancellor Palpatine counsels Anakin during his time of grief and anger. The kind Chancellor offers what advice he can give to the powerful young Jedi."

Interesting. Perhaps this whole arc is suppose to strengthen Anakin's relationship with Palpatine more while creating a rift between him and the Jedi Council. I won't get my hopes up, but if this is the case, then count me excited for this week's episode.

New peak at Darth Maul(look in background):

Looks like he's really back people.

As for this week's episode, better than the last one. I especially love the fight at the end and what Cad Bane said to Ahsoka when Anakin was knocked out: "Sorry lil lady but we'll have to dance later".

"You want to kill him, do it like a man."

You hear that? That's the sound of Cad Bane's BS detector going off and him calling you out on it.

No offense to Boba Fett, but until we get new information to change my mind, Cad Bane > Boba Fett.

Damn right! Cad Bane is the man!

I really liked the Parwan and Rako's line about hunting them for a living. The creators of this show should really strive to make more original aliens instead of recycling old ones.

Anywho, here's hoping that this arc ends on a strong note next week.

I know I'm a week late, but anyone else catch the Indiana Jones Shout-Out last week?

Yeah, I caught the reference.

Also, there's an official description for the episode "Massacre", the episode that comes after next week's episode:

"The first episode of a four-part season finale. Count Dooku seeks revenge for his betrayal at the hands of Asajj Ventress and the Nightsisters."

Just a harmless giant from a foreign land.
it would be nice if the series wouldn't just always introduce one new arc, then wait a whole season before revisiting it. (Deathwatch, Nightsisters)....its annoying :/

Yeah, I started off sort of ambivalent to Cad Bane, seeing him as little more than another villain of the week. He's really come on strong though and his ability to think on his feet and be ruthless has me liking him a lot.
"Tyyr's a necessary evil. " Spirit
"And letting the fact that Ahsoka got a spanking from a Womandalorian go!"

I don't seem to be able to let go of the fact that she called Ahsoka 'skinny' though surprised . I mean, the woman looks slimmer than the teenage girl despite being taller and wearing armor!

"We saved the Chancellor, it was worth it" [lol]

There is just something saddening and amusing when you know the inevitable fate of other characters.

[up] Darht Maul got better? Again? That's what, the third time now?
Fourth time. First time in a work that isn't implicitly considered as a 'What If' though.

Not really, all of Maul's resurrection were little more than fan-service and were never connected to each other. In one it was presumably the original Maul who came back with metal legs to kill Obi-Wan after Rot S, in another it was a clone/doppleganger who fought Darth Vader and in another one a mas scientist somehow found his brain and used to create a hard-holo that fought Luke Skywalker. All of those were printed in a line that was considered as a 'What If' line.

This resurrection in The Clone Wars is the first 'serious' one, the only one that has a goal beyond simple fan-service and that could bring something new to the character. It is also accompanied with a truckload of EU material : two short stories by James Luceno and a biography by Ryder Wyndham. Nasty life that guy had, it isn't good having a Sith as a 'parent'.

lol my favorite Maul resurrection was when he had a metal (cyborg?) torso. I also liked the backstory that went with it.

Maul is this generation's Boba Fett.

I suppose the emphasis on Maul in the commercials for Phantom Menace 3D makes sense now.

See, what did I tell you? Pure fanservice smile !

Here you go for the description and name of the comic it appeared in :

Well guys, looks like Maul is being voiced by none other than Sam Witwer himself(the voice of Starkiller from The Force Unleashed). I strongly suggest you watch the video in the article.
