Omega still needs to have some level of hammyness. Even if he isn't all "Bwahaha I'll feast on your heart and crap out your soul! wahaha!"
I am now hearing in my head Doc saying how bad that diet is for your health.
so, just finished re-watching up to season 6, and the Director's monologue at the end is still making me sympathetic towards him even after the stuff that was revealed in season 9. Does anyone else think that the Director is still a character that inspires sympathy and pity for his tragic life and elicit reluctant acceptance for his morally questionable actions? or is his actions in season 9 enough to condemn him to prison or possibly Caronlina's wrath.
@Gevaric
Thank's for the compliment but seeing as how Espilon is now out of the capture unit, my theory has pretty much been Jossed
By the way, these are my theories on how the Washington/Espilon and Alpha/Tex stories are going to pan out in Season 10
1. Washington and Epsilon:
First of, I believe that Wash and Epsilon had once been friends; based on a quote from Agent Washington:
"“No, just the same old feelings, you know; that I had another person living inside my head and I got to experience first hand as their mind unravelled while mixed with my own.”"
The main word in that quote is “person”, Agent Washington saw Epsilon as another person going insane, rather than just a rogue computer program that malfunctioned. And when you consider that he treats Delta (The only other A.I we ever see him interact with) as just an advanced program, that leads me to believe that Espilon was important to Washington in some way and that he was genuinely saddened by his death.
So anyway this is how I believe it started out.
At first, Wash was extremely hesitant about being implanted for the simple fact that having someone inside your head for the rest of your life, no respite would be incredibly annoying, especially someone like Delta. I imagine that due to its docile nature, Delta was often used as the “'example” A.I'.
"“Okay York, could you please step up for a minute and demonstrate exactly what an A.I is like?" ”
And so Washington naturally assumed that all the A.I were going to be like Delta. Not that he had a problem with Delta, it was just the thought of having some Microsoft paperclip type program living inside his head forever.
"“Someone. Please. Kill me."
But to Washington’s surprise the A.I they assigned him: Epsilon, was nothing like what Agent Washington had expected. Rather than being a docile butler type servant, Epsilon had a sarcastic, irreverent nature (remember, he has the same personality as Church) that Washington liked immediately and the two quickly became friends.
However, as we all, know things went horribly wrong. Now I don’'t think Rooster teeth will show Epsilon’'s decent into madness as simply some random flashes of images. No, no, no, no, no. They’'re smarter than that. I think they will actually be much more subtle. In fact, the first signs could actually be quite funny like “WTF” but then it goes from Funny to...
Odd....
To ....
Creepy....
To....
Something is very, VERY wrong here!!
And then becomes just outright horrific.
So this will be a very dark story, because Washington will be watching his closest friend descend into madness while being unable to help him, and what makes it even worse is that Washington knows EXACTLY what is tormenting Epsilon because he is experiencing the exact same thing. As Washington said, he had to experience Espilon's descent into madness, FIRST HAND, and thus is also dragged into the depths of insanity.

I just finished watching the whole series' (minus Out of Mind and the PSA's). Really good, but there's something that's been bothering me for a while.
Are we ever given an explanation on whether or not the Blood Gulch crew did in fact go forwards in time, or not? I seem to remember something being addressed, but I forgot.
With the more serious turn it was probably retconned that they didn't actually travel through time.
They've practically said they never traveled through time.
“My body is ready. I’m gonna take your names, take your ass, and then we’ll be making games”. - Reggie Fils-Aime, CEO of Nintendo AmericaIn Recreation Chapter 4, there's this dialogue:
Councilor: …where you landed. Can you elaborate?
Donut: Yeah. We were diffusing a bomb by this guy “Omega,” but then the bomb went off, and it was just this huge explosion that it totally threw us into the future, and we landed there in that place.
Councilor: I’m not sure I understand… The future?
Donut: Sarge said that since we were surrounded by ice when the bomb went off, and then it was all sand, the Ice Age must’ve ended, and that would’ve taken a really long time. So, it must’ve pushed us into the future.
Councilor: …I… don’t have a check box for that. So I’m just going to write down “other…”
Seems to me that, since the Councilor has no clue what Donut is talking about, they didn't actually go through time, since he'd probably know about any time travel. Plus people (freelancers and command) were still alive after the "time travel".

wealp, new preview at PAX. and it looks like Rooster Teeth got themselves Elijah Wood...what say everyone?
Waitwut? They really got a big name Hollywood star to do voicework for Rv B?
One Of Us at work, perhaps?
^perhaps. Here's a link of the preview: http://es-es.twitch.tv/pax/b/314132168 to be honest, I'm treating this more as a tech demo sort of thing; just trying to establish some differences of character and how the Project has been altered. However, I REALLY hope that Wash using an EMP Armor Ability and being used to bring down Maine stays in; that was seriously cool. Oh, in case anyone's wondering, the AI with Maine is Sigma.
Have to wait for it to go up on youtube because it's like a slideshow now, but what I could make out looked good.
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!Really pumped for season 10. Elijah Wood? Hell yes. Don't be surprised if, a few years from now we see a Red Vs Blue film.

A new miniseries just started on Halo Waypoint, called "Where there's a wall, there's a way". The blues get a helicopter and Sarge investigates the wall.
Link, please?
Flora Segunda | World Made By Hand | Monster Blood Tattoo ^You should read these series.I decided to rewatch the Season 2 DVD and then decided to watch the Season 1 Primer, and I realised that one of Caboose's lines in that was "then, Church blew himself up".

Here it is:
http://halo.xbox.com/en-us/Community/Detail/rvb-wall-episode-1/0e7a1b6f-a179-4e92-9702-7760dce70cb8
There's a lot of Rv B content only up on Waypoint.
I think I was wondering, ages ago, if they'd ever have the characters curious about that. When does the next episode come out?
New wall episode out, plus some short videos about Halo 4.
Ugh, that Orange AI from the Season 10 trailer - I can just tell that thing is going to be haunting my dreams.
^Yeah Sigma's gonna be haunting me for a while now...
^^Or, is it possible that the 'new' darker 'rehash' is the true Omega (if it occurs) and the entity known as O'malley hasn't really been created yet? I'm siding with Lunacorva on this; Omega was supposed to be Alpha's Rage incarnate, and at worst O'malley could come across as an entertaining looney prone to arguing with Doc (his polar opposite.) Is it really hard to imagine Omega with NO restrictions or suppression on his being as a literal alternative character interpenetration?
Anyway, we won't know for about six months, so we'll see what happens.
