I feel dirty and blech...

Last night I bought a PS 3 and Unreal Tournament 3. It's pretty cool, but I'm just feeling "meh" that I wasted so much money on it, if it was cheaper maybe I wouldn't feel so bad. >_<

Do you think I should take it back?

I bought it half a year ago and it was $10 used CND then. How much cheaper do you think it's gonna get?

Also, I'm surprised you're taking issues with it when there's an insane amount of content. There's over 1.5gb of free official content, plus you can use most mods from the PC version, so you can do everything from a side-scrolling team combat game to Snowboard Races between Solid Snake and Samus.

I dunno, I always feel bad when I spend a lot of money on something. I guess I'll keep the PS 3.

Oh I thought you were complaining about the game, not the system.

In which case the best game to get a feel for the system probably wasn't a port of a PC game. >.>

I would say take the game back if you're really not enjoying it, but not the console. A console at least has the potential to have something good on it. But a game that's boring to you is what it is.

I liked the game when I tried it at a friends house, meh i dunno. But I agree it probably wasn't the best game for a first game.

Either Uncharted, inFAMOUS or Little Big Planet. Something great, cheap, and that's an exclusive to show what the PS 3 is like.

I haven't played it, but you might like Resistance Fall Of Man. It's from 2006 so it should be cheap, and I heard it's quite good. Plus the third game is coming out this year

The Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection is going to be out soonish. And Last Guardian is due at the end of the year.

I hear you on the PS 3, though... I'm saving up for an HD monitor since designers in their infinite wisdom don't include a text-enlargener, so the thing's a brick until then. :(

The combat controls can be frustrating but if you can put up with it, then yes.

Bear in mind that my laptop couldn't run Origins terribly well.
