Uh, character does something stupid that does or would get them killed. Sounds pretty objective to me, especially when other characters comment on it or it is explicitly pointed out to you by the work itself.
Too dumb to live is about as clear as the trope title can hope to be. Just remove the incorrect examples as you find them and maybe fix the description and laconic if they are in anyway misleading.
