I think it's more They Don't Know They Are Smuggling Crap. They seem to be just tossing random things in as a nod to the source material...without really understanding the source material.

I think the Split Worm looks pretty cool, from the brief glimpse I saw of it.

I saw a link to a featurette and some new screens from the film on Tumblr here. It shows the Memory of Alessa, and she looks like The Crow for some reason. She also says this to Heather:

Um, but, in the game, the Memory of Alessa fight happened when Heather was already in Silent Hill. Wut?

Looks like a dream sequence to me.

Like say sometime before Heather enters Silent Hill, she suffers a nightmare where the memory of Alessa says that.

I think I saw in a recent commercial that they combined the Split Worm with that manneguin spider. I have to admit I kinda liked that idea.

Apparently there's a new clip but the Empire site just will not work for me at all lately, so I have literally no idea what it is or if it's new or old or what.

There is a new spot for the film that uses random tweets along with a couple of quotes from actual reviewers. Take that however you will.

According to the IMDB, the film is only 94 minutes long. I sincerely hope it fits in as much awesomeness as it can. This could be a good thing in the end, though, as the first movie was a touch long at 125 min.

Also according to IMDB, Travis Grady from Silent Hill Origins is indeed a character in the movie. I wonder what role he'll have to play... I hope it involves helping Harry/Chris save Sharon/Heather.

BTW, I finally launched a page for the movie. Check it out and tell me if I messed it up. Also, for those of you who are going to see the movie soon, please, please mark your spoilers properly!
