The former. Pedophiles (and predators in general) often seek out positions of authority... this allows them to gain trust more easily, and to make it harder for their victims to feel like it's safe to tell what happened to them.

No, just because one leader of the church is corrupt doesn't mean the entire church is. Same goes for any organized group of people. Don't plaster his doings upon others of the same group.

The point of me saying that is because he wanted to shut down something for public masturbation. Then he hypocritically does the same thing. If a few people participate in sexual behavior at a gay pride parade (and the entire group must suffer for it) then I feel like this pastor should get a taste of his own self-righteous medicine.
