Only if performed by someone who knows what they're doing. It still isn't something society should encourage.

Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information.
I don't think there are any benefits to female circumcision.
Be not afraid...
Christmas is coming 🎄Well you only have to do it once
... I'm sorry, what? That made zero sense.
Be not afraid...
Christmas is coming 🎄The only good thing about FMG is that you don't have to do it a second time
Laboriously re-writing my storyThat's a rather non-sensical answer. And I'm still wondering how the "ritual nick" compares to something like a piercing.
Family reunions are like colonoscopies; no matter how much you’d rather not, you still need to have one every few years.
Christmas is coming 🎄They can only cut your clitoris off once I haven't been able to find much information I what exactly the proposed 'ritual nick' entails. But I assume that it's something simler the male circumcision in terms of bodily damage. I tried a quick google search on Female Genital Mutilation but I couldn't find anything other Clitoridectomy. Apart from Ero Guro. DX.

Actually I remember reading somewhere that shortening of the clitoral hood is a common cosmetic procedure for women who have trouble reaching orgasm because their clits can't get out when aroused. since this is legal and since the hood is the female analogue to the foreskin, I guess it means that there is no double standard
Azor AhaiHmm, that makes sense. Forget the name of it, but there's a comparable male condition, something like phigmosis(?) that requires circumcision for the same reason.
It's Phimosis.
Different forms of FGC/FGM

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
