@feo: The ending didn't suprise me at all when I beat it yesterday.
And that Shadow Of The Colossus type game is land of the Elads. I've played a little of that one, too.

Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied.Damn, why can I never think of any good examples when I need to?
I recently got into scary games though. From the ones I can remember...
- 1916 Der Unbekannte Krieg - Raptors in WWI
- Hide - Atmospheric stealth game with retro graphics
- Which - Oh, never mind, this one does have an entry
There's also this amateur freeware open-world RPG that has no combat - only dialogue and puzzles. I forget the name. Shame, it looked good...

Unmanned is a thing. That's really all I can say, it's quite interesting though. I honestly don't know how to describe it, but you should play it. Also, it's by the same people who made Every Day The Same Dream, so that's cool.
Thoughts?
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.- Jimmy
Wow. I am not familiar with... the thing... that I just played. definitely new and interesting. My theory is that it's some kind of an elaborate ADHD test.
But either way I do love weird new things. I'll need to look through this whole thread for suggestions.
Anywho, let's go with a couple more suggestions:
- Emily Enough - One of my favorite short Adventure Games. Dark comedy with great graphics and sound.
- Black Shades - Cool, simple FPS.
- Adventures In The Galaxy Of Fantabulous Wonderment - Humorous space exploration game by that one guy
- Hakaiman - A good top-down action-stealth game

The Island of A God - This game has you playing as Stan from Montreal who has to collect the pieces of his elements to help a god and get home. There's some foul langauge, and despite what the credits say, the game isn't that hard. You do need to kill yourself to reach the last area after collecting all of the pieces, though...
Theseus and the Maze - This maze game has you trying to get through a giant maze as fast as you can and collect as many diamonds as possible for a high score. But there's one area where if you try to go there too early, you'll be stuck with no way to progress, so don't try any Sequence Breaking.
The Maze - This interesting game has you as a spirit of a man who died in a car accident. In order to get a second chance at life, you must make your way through the grim reaper's maze, which shuffles through the floors as you work your way downward while avoiding mystic spirits. Unfortunately, I'm stuck on one part and I'm unable to progress any further, and it's late in the game, as well. This post explains the part where I'm stuck at. If anyone has beaten it, please tell me how to escape this level...
Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied. What was the last zombie game you played that actually unnerved you? (Survival Crisis Z doesn't count—I'm not sure those things even qualify as zombies.) Decision takes the zombie-killing genre in a direction I'm amazed I haven't seen up until now. It's an imperfect piece (the dev clearly didn't speak English well, and the late-game drags a bit), but a clever one nonetheless.
(BTW, I'm fairly certain I got a "bad ending", but I'm not sure how to get the good one, or even if there's a good one. If anyone figures it out, please let me know.)

That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something AwfulCurrently playing a fun little turn-based game called QVADRIGA (archaic all-caps and Roman "U" used deliberately). It's a quick, fun, and simple little game that puts you in control of a chariot in the Roman Circus. You pick a faction (each has its own default starting bonuses) and can customize your team to an extent before the race. Once the race begins, you control the action by giving instructions to the charioteer each turn, which he then tries to implement as best he can. In classic Ben-Hur fashion, you can even try to ram other drivers to make them wreck, although if you don't watch what you're doing you might end up wrecking yourself instead.
I'm back with a recommendation!
Soldexus. For a platformer Made in Game Maker 6, it's really high quality, though the enemies tend to take a lot of punishment early on. You need the Game Maker conversion program to play it if you're not on an older computer, but it's really worth it.
Don't Press Your Luck too many times in life. You'll just get whammied.i have 2 freeware games on my PC, both by the same developer. and it is probably the most famous freeware game...in the world(that is not a SMW hack).
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic Socialist
Locomalito's newest game, They Came From Verminest, is out. Not played it yet, but apparently it's basically Galaga meets Them.
Somehow you know that the time is right.
