Yet Another Farking Touhou Idea: Schmup crossover.

Okay, so here's a lame plot idea:

An Einhander pilot, a Raptor merc, a World War Two fighter ace, and Trent Hawkins get sucked into Gensoyko.

...Obviously, gets a bit more than that. Something's wrong. There are flying drones all over the place attacking everything in sight, and what's more, humans from different places and times keep popping up, dazed and confused, and something's been going on with the youkai and that miko girl in that shrine - they're attacking everyone but each other. Only a few of the Touhou cast has escaped - namely, Rinnosuke (the shopkeeper, for those not in the know) and Eirin (the

Trent Hawkins just wants to get home, and grudgingly agrees. The Einhander pilot agrees to defend the new residents out of honor. The Raptor pilot's in it for the cash. The WWII ace wants it because he really likes to fight.

Yes, I know it's already grimdark-sounding and really ass pull-y, because something's making the Touhoes go batshit insane on non-cast residents (it's gotten to the point where Kaguya and Mokou are willingly working together), and yes, with the exception of Trent, they're OCs. I've been planning to personify how each of the games felt and played with the pilots, and the typical schmup player (don't worry, it's not a take that).

Just how far should I bend canon?

Yes, it's more or less Army of Darkness: Schmup edition.

You better include lots of Bullet Hell stuff. Far too many of these things ignore that aspect of the games. >:/
