So, who here reads Captain SNES: The Game Masta?

Personally, I came for the game references, stayed for the actually pretty good story.

This comic is a long-time favorite of mine. The awesome story has always made it worth enduring the Schedule Slip to me.

So, do you think that Live A Live is going to be featured? I rather think that Odio would be a great character to be Touched.

I think it used to have a thread here. It's a fun comic.

I thought that there was a thread recently enough that it shouldn't be archived yet, but a forum title search for Captain SNES doesn't return any results. Nor does Sweet Christmas or Stupid Fresh, so it's probably gone.

Why didn't they used Phoenix Down? My favourite OHKO in FF 4. Scratch this, in all Final Fantasy series until they made undead immune to revival items/spells.

He's a major storyline boss.

He has to make a final monologue before he dies.

It comes down to which Videoland values more, Rule of Drama or Rule of Funny.

Or perhaps both could happen, battle ends suddenly and anti-climatically. Then cutscene death.
