Best platforming focus in the series :V
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Best 3d plataformer game in the series
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/Most platforming in the series.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Most colorful game in the series.
Haven't actually played it or bought it yet.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Colors deserves an Hedgehog Engine remaster for PS 3, 360, Wii U, and PC. Not because of the graphics, but so the various moves like Quick Step and Drift can be controlled properly.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page. That actually makes sense, but it's never gonna happen, so...
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Well, they're going to have to rerelease it sometime, somehow since the Wii is going out.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Eh, it's largely overrated. A good game, but that's it. Still can't stand that version of the Homing Attack, which kills my will to play it.
I'll take the 3D games from 2006 and lower before anything currently new right now. Generations did come close, atleast the 3DS version so far.(which is good) PS 3 version might finally make me interested in the new 3D games, but I have my doubts.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I'd take your Heroes and Shadow opinion seriously if you actually played them. "Looks" is not a legitimate reason.
Both Adventure games lacked giant problems and were far easier to play. Including control-wise. Only issues were the camera and slightly glitchy at best. Except the Camera in SADX was easily fixable anyway.
06 was mediocre, though. It had its problems, but so does every Sonic game ever made(except say, Drift). I still love the game over even Generations.(PS 3 might change my mind, though) Unleashed was unplayable trash in my case. 06 wasn't, which says a lot on how much I can play it. While I couldn't actually beat all of 06, I could beat most levels. Only thing that ever game me any issues was the Mach Speed section. All of Unleashed gave me issues.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I still believe Sega could very well remaster Sonic Colors, since they already remastered House Of The Dead: Overkill.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page....you have very strange opinions, madam.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.Adventure has the best grip-handling for Sonic yet :V The friction modelling is closer to the Genesis games than any other 3D Sonic game, for one :V
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I think Reach For the Stars is the worst main theme in a 3D main sonic game yet.
I swear Tv Tropes seems to praise Colors more than anywhere else I've seen on the internet.

Woah, someone else other than me noticed that. I thought Sonic Colors would be classified as a Contested Sequel because Colors is just that everywhere else on the web.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.SA 2 is overrated IMO
http://steamcommunity.com/id/Xan-Xan/Shadow, 06, Unleashed, and SA 2 all fill out the unplayable trash bin to me. If you haven't played them, it sure as hell isn't worth tracking them down.
For me, the gameplay in Colors is a step down from Unleashed but it has my favorite soundtrack in the series.
@Irene: Well, I can't call them good if I haven't played them either. SA 1 still remains the best pre-boost 3D game I've played. Also, I gave no opinion on Heroes.
@Vertigo: I'll take RftS over Zebrahead's version of His World.
I'm the opposite; when I played Unleashed after play Colors, one of my first thoughts was something like "Holy crap, this controls terribly."

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Unleashed truly controls badly. The awful level design doesn't help either. Colors tones down sonic's moves but pretty much fixes the other stuff.
It also makes his HA range huge.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Still the Egg Nega Wisp should have been able to use all the wisp powers,it only used a few.
Hover beams,Drill dash and Rocket bombs could be used.

Humanity wants equality yet supremacy stands in the way. Destroy that and we can embrace equality. It uses Frenzy, Cube, Laser, and Spikes. So that leaves Drill, Rocket and Hover. Not much it could do with Hover and Rocket that would be a threat to Sonic. I suppose the boss could launch itself toward you then come back for Rocket, but I got nothing for Hover. Drill could have had drills come out of the ground, so there's that.
Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Generations would have to be my favorite 3D Sonic games for now. I believe Sonic Generations was supposed to be a short as a tribute to the first Sonic game complete with the Genesis era styled credits.
"Of course you do realize, this means war!" -Bugs Bunny
Best 3D game in the series.
