The final boss themes for 2k6, Unleashed, and Colors. I like how it's all despair for the first part, and hopeful for the second part. I'm a sucker for dramatic orchestral themes >_>

Personally, I want the series to remember that hedgehogs aren't the only ones who can go super.

Only Sonic, Silver, Shadow, Tails, Knuckles, Ix, and Sonic 3's Mecha Sonic are truly capable of going super. I wouldn't count Perfect Chaos because Chaos mutates whenever it gains an Emerald, while traditional Super forms are only accessible with all 7 of 'em.

Only they really tried, isn't it? So it's not really a matter of being cabable, it's having the opportunity.

Of course, to be fair there was that thing with Tails being weaker and only able to become super with Super Emeralds, but that point was never touched again.

Chaos reached Perfect Chaos with all 7.

Seems the same to me.

Especially with the exponential difference between Chaos 6 and Perfect Chaos.

I mean, he'd gotten a much larger power boost from that last Emerald than he did with the first 6.

And I think it was mentioned that Super Sonic and Perfect Chaos were running on exactly half of the juice of the Emeralds each in that fight.

He absorbed all the negative energy, and then he spat them out.

They weren't inside him anymore while he was Perfect Chaos.

With all the other forms, take out an Emerald and he goes down a stage.

The form Gemerl takes in Sonic Advance 3 after he gets all the Emeralds might be considered a sort of Super state as well.

That massive difference between Chaos 6 and Perfect Chaos may be because of the Emeralds essentially boosting each other's power even further than they could reach normally. Besides, Chaos drew on the negative energy of the Emeralds, which usually isn't done to access a "super" form.
