Thank you, Monty Oum.
Only enough to say I don't. Which is a bit of an oxymoron.
I'd rather be playing Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Too early to know anything, or to even care. But they should try to mix things up for once because the modern era of war is being overused, which is why I suggest using a conflict that has never been used before...

WWII.
Would you believe I never fully watched the original Indiana Jones trilogy? I gotta correct that someday.

Isn't it amazing, now I have princess wings!
I swear I heard a KSK dude saying "Boom! Headshot!"

At least, I assumed he was KSK because he sounded vaguely German.

Anyway, Warfighter is a definite buy for me because special operations is a subject very close to my heart and I will play the freak out of any game that features them (yes, I even liked Modern Warfare 3). I was especially amused when they described the concept as FIFA with Tier One special ops units. Also, I've heard good things about Danger Close and their work with "the Community", which is a plus.

Just let me play a Delta operator and your game has my unconditional support.

You can play any special forces unit from almost any country.

Well not any country. It seems like only 10 countries have been revealed so far and they missed out on a lot of other counterterrorism/special operations units. Also, the term "Tier One" is kind of confusing since it is a US-specific term and refers to the level of funding that each unit gets. I'm not sure how it gets applied to other countries. I'm curious as to why they decided, for example, to not include the SBS for the UK, or the 2eme REP, GIGN, GSG-9 and so on. DLC later on, I guess.

So how do the different countries work? Are they simply different skins and voices, or does each country carry a set of perks?

The soldiers in that demo certainly didn't sound like Filipinos, more like Mexicans trying to imitate a really poor accent of being Filipino. It's gonna be funny as hell watching the reaction of players here on Guam in the gaming Cafes once they pop in this sucker and start playing as the Philippines' equivalent of special forces!tongue

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
