I have a vague idea for this plot where Ginny's relationship with Harry isn't going so well (after main events of DH but before the epilogue), when Harry recieves contact from Luna. She's under the impression that Disneyland, in Anaheim, California, is a portal to an alternate universe. Harry accompanies her to be nice, though he doesn't believe her... and then, it turns out that she was right (this time, if not every time). And so begins a lengthy and complex Harry/Luna saga.
Fanfiction so high-brow that it makes literary scholars take notice.

A Touhou fanfic were Reimu is kidnapped by an OC to be killed at some 'peak magic power' time or something to destroy Gensokyo, and it's up to Marisa, Mima, and Genji to rescue her from her mysterious captor and her OC 'friends'.
Oh, and another OC, who serves as first and Extra boss, but otherwise has nothing much to do with the plot.

Nasuverse crossed with Evangelion. The Burial Agency is NERV, and the Catholic Church is the UN. The Pope, Narbareck and Zelretch are on SEELE. The Dead Apostle Ancestors are the Angels. Ciel is Katsuragi, Shiki is Kaji, Arcueid is Ritsuko, Shirou is Shinji, Saber is Rei, Rin is Asuka, Kiritsugu is Gendo, Kotomine is Fuyutsuki, Arihiko is Touji, Issei is Kensuke, Sakura is Hikari and they fight by summoning Personas. (Which have suspicious similarities to legendary figures from history and myth).
The Sword of the Morning
Having recently read Aeon Entelechy Evangelion, a Neon Genesis Evangelion and Cthulutech crossover, with some F.E.A.R. elements, I've been thinking about writing a Shadowun/ Neon Genesis Evangelion crossover. However, everybody I've told this to just shouted at me for a doing a Follow The Leader of the Warhammer40k and other tabletop crossovers.
Which made me sad.
@Rascal: I think that's a pretty epic idea right there. I say go for it.
