JSRF is one of my favorite Xbox games. Between the art and the soundtrack...
It needs a sequel. Goddamn needs one.
Played Future. It was fun and I would buy another installment.
#IceBearForPresidentI miss JSRF. Haven't played it in a while, but loved it to death.
Also UNDERSTAND UNDERSTAND

THE CONCEPT OF LOVE
Love both games, some of my favorite games ever. It most certainly so needs another installment. But I'd prefer if they use the graffiti system of the first one, minus the time limit and with controls/mechanics of the second, of course improved in both aspects.
I believe the first Jet Set Radio is coming to XBLA.
Jonah FalconI need an X Box so badly... That way I could actually play one of the copies of JSRF that I have. (Fun Fact: Did you know that copies of JSRF are going for less than $1 in used game stores?)
Oh yeah, I also need to get a Dreamcast...
^ Link please.

Hard Boiled Detective Since 1985It was announced late summer last year I think? They sure are taking their sweet time :/
360 plays JSRF now but it lags on some places(99th street UGGGH) and you can only do custom graffiti for S and SS. 360's backwards compatibility sucks.
I actually played it, and now that I finished it, the game won't let me do the test runs!
Hello again tropersJET SET RADIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Sorry, had to get that out. Unfortunately, I've never had the chance to play the game, but I did listen to the soundtrack and enjoyed it, so hopefully I'll get ahold of it at some point.
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot! You'd kinda have to get the original xbox it seems. You won't unlock all the characters otherwise
Hello again tropersI DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON HERE
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Recently replayed JSRF on my original Xbox (I beat it once before, but my original Xbox broke down in 2007 and Microsoft replaced it with a newer unit) and for the first time, I unlocked all the multiplayer characters. Turned out to be easier than I thought it would, too. Trying to convince my roommates to play the multiplayer with me is a struggle, though.
Vertigo High: Actually, there's slow down (not lag - how did that catch on as a term for that issue?) when you play JSRF on an original Xbox; playing it on a 360 just makes where it slows down more apparent.
I bought the Dreamcast game.
I don't get it. What is this? Its like THUG if they took out any objectives.
The idea is grafitti all that needs to be graffitied and do what mission you have for that particular time in the city.
Hello again tropersJSR is not coming to xbox live. That was just a rumor.

I remember having to check online to figure out what the cassette sidequests were asking me to do.
Awesome game, though. Even awesomer soundtrack.
I remember there being slowdown on few parts but it's not bad to the point where it's hugely hindering like it is on the 360. 360 version is playable still but on the Xbox it plays much better.
You get test runs on either version, first you have to beat all the street challenges for each respective area you want to do the test run in. Unlocking Poison Jam requires two areas to beat the test run of(sewer facility and sewer underground).
I played the first game and liked it a lot.
I can't unlock Zero Beat, when I test run Shibuya Terminal, the grafitti won't show up.
Hello again tropersThat seems weird. Have you beaten the game?
Well duh of course you have otherwise you wouldn't be able to test run <_< I never had that problem and I'm positive Shibuya has a graffitti run. It has flag too. Maybe you're getting it confused with dash?

@wannabeotaku: The graffiti is there, you're just not looking in the right spot. Try rotating the 3D map you get in the pause screen to figure out where it is.
No, what I mean is I can get to the tag just fine. It's just Shibuya terminal and I beat the game 3 times on my original X Box, the problem is, that when I get to the tag and it's all laid out for me, I can't spray. This is on Test Run, so I can't get Zero Beat and maybe Akumu if I don't get that one spot and I did fine for every other tag
Hello again tropersIs it the one on the billboard that's way up high? You have to wall-skate and jump off to get enough height to reach it.

You know the one grafitti soul where you had to jump from platform to platform in the right order? The tag is on the actual first platform which is easy to reach
Hello again tropers
Has anyone else on the forum played this game or Jet Set Radio Future? What'd you think? Also, do you think it's about time for there to be a new installment?
