@OP To answer your question, no.
There's no justice in the world and there never was~Nope. Not yet, anyway.
Anyone knows why if it's on hiatus after the murder mystery arc? I just haven't seen any new chapters around, so I was wondering.
So apparently this series has quite the Creator Backlash...any specific details?
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."The first time I looked at the Wikipedia page of this I was all like "Wait, shonen?"
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits.Creator Backlash? Really? How so?
Just read about it somewhere, I think it's this series...don't know much details though. Something about fans pissing her off over something I think...it could have been some other series.
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Ohhhh, I know what it was (fans pirating the manga). -_-;

Well... I usually rent my copies of Kuroshitsuji though.
The whole series strikes me as a kind of toned-down Hellsing for yaoi fangirls. Not that I haven't enjoyed the manga so far, but still.
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!BTW, the Limited Edition boxsets for part 1 of the dub are just about sold out. Darn shame the anime's less than stellar.
Exactly my reaction. My sister loves it though and has recently purchased volume 3 and 4.
Lazy and pathetic. You say that like it's a bad thing.
Well you try to make sense of season 2!
I strive to buy legit copies of the manga when my money can take it. Not just for those reasons, but also for practical reasons: It's more convenient and portable for me to read manga in bound volumes than to have to bust out my laptop.
http://twitter.com/raydere | http://raydere.tumblr.comDitto, I hate reading manga/comics/novels on a screen, it's just annoying (barring the occasional /a/ or /co/ storytime). I get the majority of my manga and anime via library, Black Butler included; the library network has a rather vast array of options in both depaartments. Actually, Excel Saga is the only manga I consistently buy.
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot! My local library stopped getting new manga, because people kept stealing it. >:
http://twitter.com/raydere | http://raydere.tumblr.comI read up all the way up to the most recent scanlations, but was flipping through volume 3 the other day since I saw it at the library. I like the art style of the series, so it was nice being able to see it in high quality.
I don't really care for the shipping. Grell is just flamboyant, so I can't take any of his flirting with Sebastian seriously. Ciel and Sebastian is creepy to me, but I guess a lot of people like that. And...what else is there? I guess stuff with Alois and the other butler guy. Claude.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit I like it...I hate people assuming I'm just into yaoi/shota/shipping/bishonen.
Tumblr here.Grell is just flamboyant, so I can't take any of his flirting with Sebastian seriously.
I don't think we're supposed to.
I will say that Ciel makes a good trap (why oh why couldn't he have been a chick?). And the fact that Sebastian is secretly an asshole who despises all the people he has to work with amuses me.
Oh yeah, and another thing: they totally made Ciel's finacee as insufferable as possible to encourage the yaoi shipping. Something that shows up a lot in anime and manga, actually, there should be a trope for it.

I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!I honestly thought her first appearance was the only insufferable part. I actually enjoy her character after that, even if she is kind of a Flat character.
Imagine Rakan applying Calling Your Attacks to doing paperwork.~Anarchy Rakan for the hell of it COMMISSION THIS BRIDGE!~EHKOh, that's good then. I haven't read any subsequent appearances yet, having only read vol. 1 and 2.
I'll turn your neocortex into a flowerpot!Started watching the anime. I have to say...
Something about a sadistic demonic butler just clicks with me..

Even the Guys Want Him. You're not alone.
I'm a bit surprised this series doesn't have a thread yet, it being Fetish Fuel Central.
I've started on both the anime and manga. I'm liking the manga better, but, can anyone confirm for me if Grell makes further appearances in the manga after his initial battle with Sebastian?
