-meanwhile, Sunny, Cerberus, Spiny, and Butterscotch attack Whispy with Payback, Flamethrower, Bite, and Focus Blast respectively-

-Whispy responds by inhaling Sunny and swallowing him whole-

AU!Opelucid - Earlier this Week

-A certain trainer who was last seen in a court hearing is interacting with his mons in a hotel room-

-Whelp, in the end, justice, and more importantly sanity won out here... I do wonder what on earth's been going on that would make people think that I'd be bullying a bunch of mons like that... And why people would think that I'd be training a Meinshao... I do like to know more about the mons that I care for, after all...-

<Speeqe: "Caw! So they let you go?">

<Claus: "Does that mean that we can go do fun stuff now instead of waiting in a boring room?">

AU!Tracer: "Yeah guys, it does..."

<Buster: "Took long enough...">

-The room's television happens to be on at the moment, droning on about the current happenings in a certain non-canon region-

Reporter: "-ave stated that their forces in the broader peacekeeping effort in Angela are slated to be withdrawn within a month, as 9 month since the collapse of Scolipede and Liepard's empire, all attempts to restore civil order and accommodate internally displaced persons under the Angelan Transitional Government have been-"

<Aloysius: "... Of all of the places that could have wound up being so difficult to restore to normal, why Angela? What on earth was so hard to communicate about being allowed to leave in peace?">

AU!Tracer: "Uh... The Unovan Government's kinda at a loss with what to do out there themselves... Many of the mons there apparently went rogue."

-I was really dreading something like this would happen... Though considering how some of the mons that we wound up taking in at PEFE saw Unova at first, I suppose I really should have seen this coming... But I guess it was a bit much to assume that the world would shake off Artemis and Scolipede's rule so swiftly without incident-

<Leana: "That still doesn't explain how there's infighting there! Honestly, you'd think that it was a political free-for-all with all the sides there!">

-I've always been more partial to that region north of Angela myself... But I don't know... Something's always rubbed me wrong about the place. I knew that it had a lot of shady things lurking under the surface, but I never suspected that they'd come out... At least not like this... I can't help but envy that other me... He doesn't have to put up with a wounded world... Let alone one bent on intruding in on his life...-

-While turning the TV off-

<Pascal: "Hmm... I guess we can only hope, man... ... Are we doing anything before we head back to Kanto though?">
