A grave sat in a grove within a region near forgotten by the outside world, foliage partially obscuring the name of the interned. If a mon was watching the proceedings, they'd notice a number of assorted species watching a species long thought dead digging a hole right next to the grave with a shovel. Many had offered, but the human insisted on doing the deed himself. It was his friend after all, and it was likely what he would've wanted.

A memory of meeting a purple clad woman in Sinnoh and a former thrall of 'M in Unova who seemed rather suspicious.

A memory of stopping a possessed Iris in the desert.

A memory of watching the duo kiss for the first time.

A memory of jealousy towards a couple.

A memory of anger and betrayal over being deceived by those he considered close.

A memory of hiding in a cave under a lightning strewn sky.

A memory of ordering a Samurott to Hydro Pump the man for interfering in his life, the woman getting caught in the crossfire.

Eventually, the hole was made and filled, with a headstone on top, marked in both human language and Pokescript. Behind them was a slightly larger stone, a makeshift monument carved with an Aura-charged dagger. It read, "While life conspired to keep them apart, in death they reunited." They stayed for a few minutes before departing, old promises needed keeping, and they would fulfill them.
