ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

-I walk back into the forest and sit on a rock, looking at my Pokeball belt, then changing my mind and pulling out my laptop. I pause for a moment, then make a quick exchange. Standing up, I release Empoleon. He notices my rather depressed expression and gives me a hug-

I've always wanted to be hugged by a giant penguin.

Crewe, I think we all do. I have no idea how to write my character back into the fourm. Anyone have any ideas?

-OLD MAN arrives in Route 14, and begins walking the grounds hoping to detect at least SOMETHING-

- I look over at my team, then at Wolf -

... So, I guess all we can do now is wait and hope the legendary Pokémon find out where he may be... and hope that, everything will be okay.

- I smile at Wolf -

Earlier today, I thought it was just foolish of me how I kept thinking that everything would be okay once we had defeated 'M. But even though things aren't okay right now, I can't give up hope that things will eventually be okay.

- My team all seem to be very happy to hear me say that -

Okay, I'm going to bed now. I'll see you guys tomorrow.

...Guys. I just thought of something. Jane said that I am connected to 'm on some higher plane of existence, right? What if we can use that connection to bring him back?

-Jane quietly studies Jellicent for the rest of the day-

I'm getting reeeeaaaally annoyed by all this depression. Sorry guys, but I'm not going to be around for a while. I can't take all this sadness. Goodbye.

Unite: <WHAT?!>

Woolly: <That...That can't be true!>

Wulfric: <I don't think I believe this...>

Pepper: <...I...Oh wow...>

Jello: <This is a big problem, a very big problem...>

I know guys. This is the biggest crisis we've...No, ANYONE has ever faced...

Pepper: <Well...We have to do something! We have to bring Arceus back somehow!>

Wulfric: <But how? He's gone to who knows where. Plus we would have to convince him to come back somehow...>

Woolly: <I don't likes this, guys.>

Unite: <How are we supposed to deal with this problem? It's...IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!>

Jello: <Unite is right, I don't think this is a problem mere mortals like us can solve.>

I don't know what to do either. Nobody does...

I'm kind of done with the depression, too, but I have character arcs to complete/contribute to. I'll let you know when things lighten up a bit, Jane.

When should I return?

I don't know what your plans for this story arc are, but I would ask for it to be by the end of the week, if possible.

Keldeo: <...You still look a bit sad...Would you like to come and watch "My Little Blitzle" with me?>

Keldeo I: <...Okay.>

I had something I intended to do that isn't sad that I can probably work in. But I needed an excuse to hug Empoleon. : P

Magikarp Salesman: So, that overgrown Ponyta has appointed OLD MAN as his replacement, eh? Well, this sounds like the perfect time to return and wreak some havoc! Heh heh heh heh heh. Ha, hahahaha! HA! HAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA-

-He gets hit by a passing interdimensional anvil-

Darn it Anom...Why did you have to go and get yourself killed?

-I'm not talking to anyone it particular.-

Do you have any idea of the trouble you've caused? You've made Arceus step down Anom. ARCEUS. You've thrown the legendaries into complete chaos. And you've pretty much wrecked what little happiness our group had left...

...Are you even listing Anom?

...I'm going to assume you're not feeling very talkative right now...

-I sigh-

If you're out there somewhere Anom, you'd better come back soon. Because honestly? I don't see any other way out of this one...

-Hugs Daisy back-

What's wrong?

Eh, might as well go ahead with it. It doesn't have plot importance or anything.

-having explained everything to Empoleon, I decide I might as well have my entire Sinnoh team and withdraw Golem. We walk into town, when Empleon nudges me and points at a man with a Scyther by his side-

Yeah, I guess it's odd seeing a Scyther here, but there must be some trainers that have come to Unova from other regions, like we have.

Empoleon: <I know, but isn't there something familiar about that Scyther?>

-I frown and look at the Scyther quizzically, then something clicks-

You mean—

Weavile: <You mean it's him? Let's find out!>

-shrugs-

Well, there's one way to do that.

-I give a high pitched whistle and the Scyther stiffens and turns. Noticing me, he sprints at us. Weavile meets him halfway and the two hiss at each other for a moment, then relax and Weavile hugs him, carefully avoiding his scythes. The Scyther's trainer walks over to the two, looking slightly confused-

Trainer: Mikey, what—Weavile?

-he looks down at Weavile, who grins at him. He slowly turns and spots me, and his face lights up-

Trainer: Crewe?

... Uncle Pete?

-Me and my team run over to him and I am immediately almost suffocated in a hug-

Uncle Pete! What are you and Mikey doing here?

Uncle Pete: Well, plane tickets opened up, and I decided there wasn't much more to explore in Sinnoh, so I came here. Why are you here?

I'm traveling with some other trainers. It's... kind of a long story. But I'm so glad you're here!

Uncle Pete: Me too! I have to say, I never expected to see you again this way. How long have you been here?

A little while. I've done a lot in that time, though. A lot of it... eh, you're probably better off not knowing.

Uncle Pete: Well, I must say you've probably done more than I have. Why don't we go to my hotel room and exchange notes? C'mon, Mikey.

Sure, sounds great!

-I recall everyone but Empoleon, and he and Mikey greet each other enthusiastically as Uncle Pete and I walk towards his hotel room, talking-

Arceus had a old man take his place because he could not save Anom from having his spirit erased from existence. And we cant go back in time to stop him from sacrificing his life to help kill M because it was the only way to break down Ms anti legendary barrier.

Whoa, slow down there. Let me get this straight: Arceus resigned leaving OLD MAN to take his place because he could not have Anom brought back from death and you can't travel through time because he's woven into the fabric of destiny?

...But where do I start? This isn't as simple as fighting a Glitch Pokémon...I'm working for the fate of everyone and everything now...
