Some: -carefully sets Pariah down so as to avoid injury-

Fortis: Awww. Well, maybe I'm not ready to train a strong mon like that anyway... that's what Piano or my brothers would say.

Aeropolis: <You are so cool!>

Hotel Room

Some: Yeah, you might want to wait a while. Skarmory are tough.

Falchion: <Yes.> -turns away from Aeropolis and goes to look around the room-

Hotel Room

Melody: -Decides to return to writing about Pokemon Myth & Lore- Hmm... Maybe I could ask those others who went on that de-twilightfying quest if they have any updates on the Obscura King.

Ulysses: -Decides to prank Mix-

During this time, Tanith and Pandora are sent to Melody's box... However, Melody doesn't HAVE the clear cut box that you're average trainer has so instead, they are sent to the Ranch.

Melody's Ranch.

As the Serviper and Chandelure arrive at their new destination, some warmy, welcomy, folksy music plays. (Contrary to the usual sounds of Solaceon)

Tanith: <Well, thissss isss the ssstrangessst box I have ever sssseen. It'sssss very... open.>

Pandora: <Hmm... Great! Now where can I set up my parking lot and race-car track?>

As the two newbies continue to observe their new surroundings, the elderly Marowak watches them from her rocking chair.

Humba: <More newcomers, eh Where is Melody findin' all these stragglers?? Well, better make a good first impression and hop they don't turn out like those two troublemakers>

Humba turns around glares at the sniviling Mismagius and Zoroark sitting/floating in the time out corner. Seeing as the two weren't going anywhere anytime soon, she hops off her chair, stretches and walks over to the Chandelure and Serviper.

Humba: <Hi there newcomers! The name's Humba and welcom tah th'ranch!>

Due to the unexpected hello, Tanith almost jumps and Pandora swereves around suddenly.

Tanith: <EEEEK! PLEASSSSSSE DON'T HURT ME :(>

Pandora: <Whoa! Where did you come from?>

Humba: <Relax, yer just on me master Melody's ranch. By the looks of it, yer two new team memebers.>

Tanith: <Ssssso... We belong to your masssster now?>

Pandora: <Oh, so that's what Rex was doing with us. Sending us away to other trainers. Yay.>

Humba: <You were Rex's mons? Melody will take extra care of you two, she's good friends with the lad.>

Tanith: <Ssssshe's rather... Pushy>

Pandora: <You're telling me.>

Humba: <I heard that> <Anyway's let me show yah around th' ranch, as long as you stay out of trouble, you'll keep on my good pages.>

The two Pokemon, afraid of what the Marowaks BAD pages are, follow her. Tanith thinks about what her friend Amia would think about this place.

Hunter follows everyone through the portal, not really sure where exactly they're going, but tired of being confused by this point.

Hotel Room

Mix: -is pranked! D:- X_X

-We're transported to the top of the building, which has an altar of some sort on the top of some stairs-

Hmm, looks like it can fit a mirror inside.

Tower Roof

Amanita: ...Do we have to sacrifice someone?

???: <I nominate the tupitsa who left us behind earlier!>

-yes, apparently Sonny's back. Sorry, all other characters involved in this scene~-

I really hope we didn't forget one of the plot trinkets...

The Tower

Umbra: Does anyone have a "plot trinket?"

Gravemind: Let's hope so... We don't want to go all this way for nothing.

-Pulls out the very same mirror I obtained last year-

Figures that you'd be used for something besides vanity.

-Puts the mirror on the altar-

Tower.

Fool: -Is fixated on the mirror-

Vlad: <Be nice!>

-Waits for the inevitable beam of light to hit the mirror-

"... We're sacrificing a mirror?" Hunter asks, confused.

Hiruma blinks curiously at Bozaka before turning his attention back to Lake, who lis rapidly losing his cool under the threat of having his throat gouged out.

Lake: <Look, you've got the wrong Feraligatr!>

Hiruma: <Lies! You look just like Tempest, accept for the tacky yellow scarf, ugly blue gloves and the badly dyed scales!>

The Samurott begins to growl.

<I 'ought to take you to the Cradily pit and throw you in there myself!>

Lake was beginning to panic now. He wasn't sure what a Cradily pit was, but it sounded painful.

Yerta: <Wait a second, Hiruma!>

The Blastoise swims over to them, taking a closer look at Lake and Bozaka.

Hiruma: <What is it, Yerta?>

Yerta glances at her Samurott companion.

Yerta: <What this Feraligatr says is true. He is Lake.>

Hiruma frowns.

Hiruma: <And how can you be so sure?>

Yerta sighs, shaking her head.

Yerta: <Because of all the things you pointed out: He has different coloured scales, a scarf and a pair of gloves when Tempest had none of these things.>

Hiruma: <...But he looks so much like him!>

Lake: <That's because I'm his cousin!>

An awkward silence sets in, broken only by the sounds of the underwater landscape. After a tense few moments, The Samurott lowers his blades.

Hiruma: <...So, you're not Tempest at all, but Lake? The Feraligatr who helped saved Pleo from the Delta supremacists and saved all of the Orange Islands from Lugia's wrath?>

Lake blinks, then nods, still shocked at having been held at sword-point.

Lake: <Yeah, that's me...>

He gives the two an awkward smile. Hiruma says nothing in response, before turning his attention to Bozaka again.

Hiruma: <And I assume you must be Stratus?>

Yerta let's out another sigh.

Yerta: <That's not Stratus, Hiruma.>

Hiruma: <What? How can you be certain?!>

Yerta: <Because that Dragonite is female.>

Hearing this, Hiruma's eyes go wide, the Samurott nearly fainting in shock.

Hiruma: <OH!>

He quickly turns back to Bazoka, looking incredibly uncomfortable all of a sudden.

<My sincerest apologies, madam! I...I certainly didn't mean to imply that you're a...um...I'm just going to be quiet now...>

-A crystal rises up from the ground and shines on the mirror-

Hmm...

-The mirror is then used as a hologram projector for a globe of the planet-

Ana: <Something of science?>

-A single red dot denotes the area north of Stark Mountain in which we saw the final flashback-

Muddy: <What's this supposed to mean?>

It means a lot of offroad travel, that's what it means.

~Sigh~

Knew this wouldn't be the end, just knew it...

-Heads back towards the exit-

"Are you serious? Another road trip?" Hunter complains, shouldering his backpack.

Tower Top

-Amanita flies off on Ares-

-Sonny (and the Murkrow) and Vlad fly off as well-

-Gene simply wanders off. He'll show up when he's needed~-

The Tower

-Umbra and Lina recall their Pokemon and fly off on Mata Nui and Gino. -

Boazaka: No problem mister! Just don't do it again or I might have a problem. :3

Well, back to Stark mountain I guess...

-I take off on Talon-

Hiruma: <Yes, madam, of course...>

The Samurott sheaths his scalchops sheepishly, then swims a few feet back, trying to make himself look inconspicuous. Yerta shakes he head at this, then turns attention to Lake and Bozaka.

Yerta: <I'm so sorry. Hiruma has trouble telling Pokémon apart from each other...>

Lake: <Perhaps he should consider getting his vision checked?>

Yerta: <I'll ask him about it later. So...Lake. It's a pleasure to have you here again.>

The Blastoise shifts her glance to Bozaka.

<Along with your friend here. Um...may I ask your name?>
