The room before them was undoubtedly Rex's room. Various belongings of his were strewn around the room, tell-tale items belonging to Pokemon as well. Under the bed came the glint of Yuki's item collection, and in his chair were a few leaves from where Minty had been a while back.

However, there was something decidedly...off about the place.

For one thing, though the overheard light was on, only half of the room was illuminated. Bit and pieces of the floor were missing, the empty spaces in shapes similar to puzzle pieces. Picture frames along the walls only showed the left halves, the right simply not there. Under the pictures was a plaque, seven of the eight Johto badges and seven of the eight Kanto badges adorned on it.

And, in the center of the room, sat Rex. Upon hearing the door to his room open, he looked up, pleasantly surprised to see his friends.

Rex: oh hello everyone

He stood, forcing a smile at all of them.

Rex: its nice to see you all again especially mezzo and crewe

He looked them both over for a moment and sighed in relief.

Rex: im glad you arent hurt

He turned his head to Fool when she spoke, tilting it curiously.
