-Places out the White pieces: two Druddgion as rooks followed by two Escavalier knights, a Panpour and a Krookodile with standards as bishops beside Reshiram and Zekrom as the Queen and King. Before them a line of 8 pawns, carved to represent the first 8 members of my group from the original timeline-

Me: <White... The light in the cracks... The warriors arising...> -Rotates the board, checking the two sides- <Now then, who would want to play chess in this horrid world...>

Lake: <Oh, that's terrible. Those poor Cubone and Marowak...>

Woolly: <You don't need to try! There's nobody alive who wouldn't like you, I bet!>

Unite: -Looks slightly awkward because of Woolly.- <So? I've been the most wanted Pokemon for years! If I let that get in the way, I wouldn't be able to help anyone! Besides, with your team and Luke's together, I bet those Bugs couldn't stop us even if they tried!>

-To Lake-

<Nadia: "I know... I just hope that whatever happens after this, that they'll be okay... Even if they are related to that mushy-skulled hag...">

-Crowbar runs back up to the private quarters reserved for the Midori Room Pokemon-

-Matchsticks is roasting something on a metal skewer-

<Matchsticks>: <Yeah! Ya missed out on one hell of a victory party!>

<Crowbar>: <Enough! What do you know about Die's situation?>

<Cans>: <What do we know?>

<Eggs>: <Well, Napoleon came in and told us he wa sending him to the docters... and that the doctor came to pick him up...>

<Crowbar>: <OH REALLY? THEN CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT'S WRITTEN ON THE TRUCK OUTSIDE OUR WINDOW?>

-The Pokemon start head over to the Window and try to decipher what's written on the truck. Doze seems to be getting there one letterat a time before Crowbar shoves him out ofthe way-
