DS' Pokemon form evolved into Espeon, and Luke had a mishap with a Ditto that inadvertently led to him being the father of Flare's egg (aka Tagg's birthday present).

Wait a minute...TAGG?! HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN THERE?!

Lake: <Ooh, this is bad...>

- Feels the headache getting worse, until the orb on my forehead begins to glow, causing me to pick up on the various thoughts and feelings of everyone in the area -

(thinking) ... Okay, my psychic powers have awakened... Now how do I turn them off!?

- Tries not to panic, and just focus my attention on Wolf trying to help me -

-Walks over to Wolf and DS, noticing her transformation-

The PEFE on Ditto says that they pick up skin cells and whatnot from creatures they come in contact with and incorporate it into their DNA. Well, the Ditto glomped Luke just before going off with Flare to make an egg for Tagg, so now Luke is the dad of a Torchic, which works because of trace Feraligatr DNA Luke has from transforming into one. It's a little weird, but we expect the resulting Torchic to be badass and blue.
