ITT: We are all Pokémon Trainers

Glad to hear you like Hoenn, Luke! I've got a special place in my heart for this region. It was the first one I traveled through! Though I only got the badges from up to here in Fortree,so I guess my collection isn't all that way complete.

I have to say that Hoenn is probably the best region I've seen so far. Maybe after we've been to Unova, I'll come here and take Hoenn's gym challenge.

Lake: <Boy, it's been ages since we've had a gym battle. Wasn't it Blue that we beat last?>

Yeah. But as you said, that was ages ago.

Blue, huh? Never met him. I did fight Blaine though. Swell guy! He's really cool and fun to talk to.

I've met him too. I fought against him while travelling through Kanto. He was good, his Fire Type gave all my Pokemon a hard time. Including Lake!

Lake: <He sure liked using Sunny Day. Made my water attacks almost useless!>

It's a shame about what happened to Cinnabar Island though. I stopped off there on my way to Pallet Town from Seafoam. It was really sad.

I have heard they're planning to rebuild the town though, so I guess it's not all bad new.

-Wakes up and walks towards the others-

I love Fortree City. Shame about what happened to Cinnabar.

Yeah, I feel really bad for it. But at least the Pokemon Center is still up and running and it's not entirely abandoned.

-Sees Swablu flying out the window-

Yeah, at least there's still that, and I hear that Blaine turned his little cave over in the Seafoam Islands into a real Gym.

He did, I've seen it. It's pretty impressive too. He's even got gym trainers and everything. i was glad to see that he managed to get back on his feet after a disaster as bad as that.

We've still got some pretty rough terrain between here and Lilicove.

It can't be any harder to get through then the desert in-between Slateport City and Lavaridge Town. It's been two days, and I'm still finding sand in my clothing.

-I shake some sand out of my sleeves to prove my point.-

It's not as bad as the desert, but still pretty rough. Luckily there's no bogs like the ones outside of Pastoria. Those are a bitch to move through.

Speaking of which, the Great Marsh is especially annoying. Do you have any idea how hard it is to manuver in there?!

Me: Yes, getting stuck in mud is not fun. At all.

Nudi: <But I loved the mud.>

Me: Of course you did.

There is a road cut through it you know. It's kind of a maze but it's still a road!

True, but I always hated having to get off my bike when I had to go through this route.

I never really minded. But if we're going to get to those ruins anytime soon we'd better get moving! -slings her backpack on and stands up-

Riley: So, you'll be leaving for Unova in a few days.

Yeah...

Cheryl: Well, I hope you'll have a good time in Unova.

Mira: Have fun! Mira will meanwhile keep training so Mira can become strong like DS!

Marley: ... Unova is pretty far away from here, isn't it?

Buck: You're going to take the gym challenge in Unova, right?

Yeah, that's the plan.

Buck: Well, that should be easy for you, right? You beat me once, so those gym leaders won't stand a chance!

Oh, I will certainly try to get all the badges! No doubt about that!

...Uh guys? I think I just saw a Muk's face in the swamp... It was part of the mud!

Really? You sure? Because I don't think Muk live in Hoenn.

Luke's right, Muk don't exist in Hoenn. There is not a single Muk or Grimer to be found in this area. You're probably just seeing things.
