Jimmy sat at his desk combing through articles and offers, Janet had suggested that he try to find another job, something adventurous considering she apparently liked his "dangerous" attitude. Jimmy smiled a bit at the thought.
Hal popped up and looked over, "Everything alright?"
"Just looking for another security job Hal."
"Doesn't seem like you, I remember when I was first assigned to you back in the Rangers."
"I remember, you nearly pissed yourself in fear."
"Quite impressive for a Porygon."
"More like let's stop thinking about it... Then more of our team started to come together, You, then Mantis from my brother, then Rex, then Raiden."
Hal let out a small laugh, "And here we are, still around you and Gray."

James sighed a bit and leaned back, "Yeah. And here we are now... things are getting... weird."
Hal would shrug but then noticed something, "Oh this looks interesting. Research Facility has a open spot for some security."
James took a closer look, "PEFE" it said, then something clicked.
PEFE was a notable organization for certain, also known to have ties to the J-Team, and considering these past few months... his first major interaction with J-Team members was at Best Berry, where he worked as a security guard, and lost his job there. Then there was the Pirate Ship event, that was weird. The Bunker Raid as well, seeing so many people dedicated to using nerve gas unnerved him, even more than his twin's weird survivability. Finally there was that... thing, Chaos, Tragedy, whatever it was called, it was twisted and evil... Jimmy still had nightmares of seeing that thing.
"Hal. Translate please."
"Oh? Okay."
"Gray?"
"<Yes?>"
"Do you believe in fate?"
"<I believe we are fated to face our deaths one day, be it on the battlefield, where we were raised...>"
"You scare me a little. I don't mean that, I mean what if there is something steering us towards the J-Team and all that?"

James looked over the application with some thought before finally saying, "I suppose not... Hal you can stop translating."

James set about applying, even if he didn't get accepted, he was more than aware of where he was going next.
