Lucius giggles too, largely as a reflex response to PEFE!Every doing the same.

Lucius: Makes sense! I mean, there's an "Every" in Gravy... but I'll just stick to Every. I haven't spoken to Ever in, like, forever, so no risk of a mixup there!

He giggles again, then looks to Alonya and throws his arm around Kaito.

Lucius: That's Kai for you! They've been looking out for me since... since... man, it's been a long time, hasn't it? Seems like only yesterday I was asking for directions in Virbank...

Shun: True, but then I am technically your trainer. I should be the one shouldering that responsibility. Still... it's always good to hear from you.

JD pulled out a knife and ran it against his hands, blood trickled from the cut, "Hurts as well. This body is not only advanced mechanics, but advanced biology."

"Completely lifelike thanks to cloned flesh over mechanical endoskeleton. Specialized design meant not to be spotted. Not only unit in next generation robotics research."

JD rolled his eyes, "Oh yes the UB-Hunters."

Tapu Cafe

Kaito: Yeah— er, uh.

-They blush as Lucius throws his arm around them. While he isn't looking, they subtly switch their drink for his, followed by asking a waiter for a second Tapu Cocoa.-

Kaito: It really has been a long time. Uh. Ahem.

-They clear their throat-

Kaito: Anyway, at least this is a break from the usual.

Tapu Village Cafe

By this point, Lucius is far past noticing the switch.

Lucius: A break? I kinda thought being attacked by pirate aliens and plugging up holes in the sky was the usual for us...

He giggles and takes a sip of "his" drink.

Lucius: ...This gin tastes funny.

Malie City Pokemon Center

Shun: I will.

He covers the phone with his hand and calls over to Dani and Tara.

Shun: Sholto says hello, by the way.

Dani: Oh, your bird friend? Tell him I said hai back~

Tara: Tell him that I'm looking for a new group of players and am willing to overlook a lack of opposable thumbs.

Shun goes back to the phone.

Shun: ...They say hello, and are looking forward to the next time we meet.

Kaito: Oh, of course. We've been dealing with big holes in the sky since you first met us, haven't we? It's just the little things like this that are the breaks.

-Psyche's drink is, mysteriously, now Tapu Cocoa.-

JD sighed, "Clever, I think Oran means they want a body to interact with someone not wage war."

"Statement: Entirely possible to do."

JD sighed, pulling himself out of his body for a moment to rub his head in frustration, before floating back in. "Replicant bodies are useful, pretty much better than the standard human in every way. Now, we do want some things ourselves."

"Desire: Contact with Team Iron to set a alliance or truce."

Tapu Village Cafe

Lucius's expression becomes somewhat melancholy.

Lucius: I 'spose that's true... shame we don't get more of them, really...

He takes a swig from Psyche's drink and grimaces.

Lucius: ...Urgh, that's just as bad.

Malie City Pokemon Center

Shun smiles.

Shun: I can't think of anything else to say. I am always willing to talk, however.

Sholto: <Cool! I'll call if I want to talk more. Or just stop by if an opportunity where I'm free shows up.>

<But, yeah, talk to you later!>

-He hangs up-

Psyche grimaces. ~Fine then, have no culture.~ She takes it back. ~...Wait, why is it warm? I hate hot drinks. Kaito!~

-Alonya's drink is now also Tapu Coca for the hell of it-

Oran OS: Oooh, sure, but first, I need to send you a base for my new body... It's based on my creator, with a minor tweak or two!

-They send Clever OS and JD data for a 3D model-

"Will contact you when body is finished."

"ORAN OS HAS DISCONNECTED"

"See you in the future, Oran OS. Hope you like your body," with that, JD teleported out. The remaining robots crumpled to the ground, non functional.

-PEFE!Every, meanwhile, has been steadily and quietly drinking-

PEFE!Every: Hey. Hey Lucius. You can't just...you can't go spilling that I'm a...double agent, y'know? If Alonya finds that out, she'll prolly...like, shiv me or something.

-she is saying all of this to Alonya-

Cytosol: <...So you're done for now.> (to Alonya) <Ignore her. She's babbling.> <Rotary? Let's get her home.> (to Psyche) <We'll get back to you tomorrow about shopping, provided any of you remember today's events.>

Tapu Cafe

-Kaito smiles, pretending to not have heard Psyche.-

Kaito: Hey, it's now that counts, right?

-They watch PEFE!Every get Clicked away, and cough-

Kaito: I think I need some air for a moment, it is a little musty in here. You two beautiful Cains stay here, okay?

-They give Alonya a look.-

Lucius: ...Huh. She turned invisible. Crazy what you can do with science, isn't it, Allons-y...?

He turns to Kaito, smiling.

Lucius: Can do, Kai... just lemme know if you need any help out there with, y'know, breathing...

He falls asleep on top of the bar.

-As they head outside, Kaito turns to Alonya. They check their headspace and the surrounding area to make sure Psyche isn't listening in, and then start talking.-

Kaito: ...So. Iron or Mobius?

-The look they're giving Alonya isn't judgmental. It's still just as kind and friendly as ever, just... more serious.-
