Route 16

-Alex turns around at the spectacle, her jaw dropping-

Alex: ...You're right, Colton. I shouldn't have tempted fate.

-smacks self-

Shaun: "So I figure you can go scout out Po Tow-"

-He pauses as he hears the noise.-

Shaun: "What the?"

-He walks out the main door before sprinting back in to his room.-

Ace: <What is it?"

Shaun: "More Ultra Beasts. Three of them."

-He grabs a Premier Ball and a Poké Ball off of his belt.-

Shaun: "Come on!"

-They rush outside. Shaun tosses the Poké Balls down, releasing a certain Empoleon and a three-tailed Vulpix.-

Tsunami: <Excellent.>

Jessica: <More of these meanies?>

-Shaun nods and pulls out his phone, hastily composing a message.-

"Let me guess. UB-03 Lighting, colloquially referred to as Xurkitree?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out his Great Ball.

He lobbed it up and 9-Volt landed beside him, facing behind him. "Sticky Web."

The Galvantula created the Web before lobbing it a short distance away, in between Colton and the Ultra Beast, leaving it little choice but to walk through the web.

Soujin: "You planning on heading out of Alola whenever the rest of the J-Team does?"

Route 16

- The tail-like appendage flashes, and before they realize, the web has disappeared in to smoke, coming down on 9-volt with more electricity than it could handle. The surrounding trees catch fire. Aether grunts soon head to the route.-

No amount of type resistance could rectify the fact that Xurkitree was about as powerful as a firing squad of Magnezone. One hit did everything. Colton's reaction was instant.

"I don't have any Ground-type Pokemon! Please be merciful!" He got on his hands and knees but made sure to return 9-Volt.

Route 16

-The three worm holes merge to from one, giant wormhole, and soon reveals that all three appendages, were part of only one Xurkitree. The head emerges, glowing white.-

Aether Grunt: Is that the same one from the Geothermal plant?

Solomon: I'll contact Mr Blight, quarantine the area!

Mt. Hokulani

-Krieg's phone rings.-

Krieg: Hello?...Shit, I'll be there soon!

-Krieg gets back on the Maverick and heads towards route 16.-

Ace: <I'm begining to think this was a bad idea.>

Shaun: "Gee, really? Tsunami, try putting out those fires?"

-Tsunami obliges, though she would rather be fighting. She contemplates what move to use before trying a Surf.-

Route 16

-Alex sends out an Electrode-

Alex: Junkrat? Draw that thing's ligning strikes.

Junkrat: <Woohoo! Time to let it blow!>

-he rolls around the Xurkitree at high speed-

Alex: Now time to show this thing what I can offer!

-She rolls back her sleeve and a small blaster sends a Tri Attack at the Xurkitree-

Beast boost activated, Sp.ATK sharply rises!

-One appendage glows with whitish green light before firing it into a ray at Junkrat with frightening accuracy. Another appendage takes the tri attack beam and absorbs it.-

Sp.ATK sharply rises!

-Krieg arrives and promptly throws up. There goes last night's dinner.-

Krieg: Don't use beam attacks! It'll absorb it like candy! Use solid moves and attack!

-A bolt of lightning from the tail hits an Aether grunt-

Krieg: Shit! Don't get hit by the lightning!

Aether Grunt (817):    Don't think that would be obvious?

Shaun: "You heard him! Agility, Double Team, physical attacks, now?"

-They oblige. Tsunami relaxes her muscles while Ace and Jessica dart around, each creating eleven copies.-

Somewhat exasperated with Colton being a little too scared to focus, one of his Pokemon was very exasperated with this. A Poke Ball opened, Colton's Stoutland, nicknamed Minister, landing in front of his cowering trainer.

Rolling his eyes, he dove for Xurkitree, hoping to puncture the wiring making it up with his teeth.

Route 16

-Junkrat is hit by the beam but uses it to launch himself into 817 with a Rollout-

Junkrat: <Wooooohooooo!>

Alex: Well, I'm not sure Xurkitree should be able to do that, but that's just my HEADCANON!

-A small literal cannon emerges from her head and fires a Dark Pulse-

Soujin: "Could you remind me what happened with that?"

817:    Oh my, quite foolish, aren't they?   

-The Aether grunt smiles, Krieg is sent shivers down his spine. Krieg calls Frieden on his Comm and shouts to the others.-

Krieg: Fall back, it's dangerous! Frieden, I'm at route 16, we need help, it's 817!!

-817 takes Alex and Junkrat's hit without problem and sends out a wave of electrical energy from it's body. It travels faster thanks to the water from surf still around. The wave causes the comm to malfunction.-

Metatron

Frieden: Krieg, Krieg!? FUCK!

-Frieden punches the inner layer of the jet and turns around to route 16.-

-Alex promptly grabs Junkrat like a beach ball and attempts to fall back-

-However she is knocked over by the Shock Wave and falls over, sparking, as her eyes flash various colors-

-Shaun scoops up Jessica and leaps backwards, accidentally sending his message. Ace avoids the attack again but Tsunami isn't so lucky and falls down, writhing in pain. She clenches her beak, gets to her feet and falls back, protecting the others.-

Shaun: "Damnit! I blame myself!"

-He finally notices the Grunt.-

Shaun: "By Arceus and the three...You're...possesed!"

-Alex is still malfunctioning-

- 817 doesn't move it's leg. It doesn't have to. Both Junk rat and Tsunami are within it's reach. It lashes it's 3 appendages at them with lightning speed, all enveloped in eerie green light.-

Krieg: Shit, Magma, Gen! It's a rematch!

-Krieg sends out Magma and Gen-

Magma: < Rematch? With who?>

Gen: < Prepare for another beatdown!>

-Both look at 817. Both face falls into despair-

Magma: <No.... Not that! Anything but that!>

Gen: <Why that.... Why!?>

-Both attempt to go back into their pokeball.-

Krieg: Gen, Magma! Back then... We were inexperienced... No, weak. But now's different! People are with us! Even we can't win, we still have to protect the others! We want don't another sacrifice like Ret! Right!?

-Both stop. Closes their eyes shut, and turns back. Both have tears in their eyes, still scared.-

Magma: <You son of a bitch! You'll pay for your sins!>

Gen: <This, is for our fallen brother in arm! Prepare!>

Metatron

-Frieden can see the islands, and makes haste. He doesn't want any more death at the hands of 817.-

Route 16 Have I been goofing up the location in my responses?

Minister, while caught in the crossfire, given, was a lot bulkier than he was given credit for. He was within range for Crunch to connect.

Colton, meanwhile, was vaguely aware that Xurkitree was distracted. Picking himself up and treating himself like he still had his dignity, he looked to Alex.

"Let's admit it; our Pokemon are NOT prepared for this. At all."

Route 16

-817 sees Minister, and promptly uses it's leg appendage to join him into the Powerwhip, but the crunch connects. Gen uses Sludge bomb, and Magma uses fireblast. The water causes mist to rise. This gives advantage to both 817 and Magma. The power whip quickly swats away the two attacks.-

Metatron

-The jet heads for Ulà Ulà island.-
