-the Houndoom and Hydreigon both get mobbed from all sides, and despite their efforts, both faint-

♀☣→→♠: Oh, so that's how you want to play? Fine!

-Mezzo sent out Felis and Yin!-

Felis: <Really? You couldn't just let things be, could you? No, you just had to come in and save her.>

Yin: <They're attacking us! I knew you could never be trusted!>

Sunny: <But we're trying to save Piano!>

Yin: <Lies!>

-Mezzo touches her Mega Ring, and Yin's Absolite responds, enveloping him in a Mega Evolution cocoon-

-then, she touches her Z-ring and makes a pose, extending her tentacles outward-

Felis: <You do realize... that you brought this upon yourselves. You'll regret approaching her.>

☣♪☼•é: ♠▓é∞√☣♦•√☣

-Felis sends out a black hole straight into the crowd of trainers and mons opposing him, devouring all in its path-

-Yin tenses, watching and waiting for his opponent to make the next move-

Krieg: Lyn, Counter! Cro, Leech life!

-Lyn, thanks to Counter, is able to hold on and try to pay Felis the Feline piece of ass with double the power of Felis's Z move. Cro is visibly damaged but is still kicking enough to go for leech life on Felis with his remain 3 images from the double team.-

Lyn: <Counter Attack, bitch!>

Cro: <You better beg God for mercy, because we have none.>

Heina Desert

-Argon is instantly K Oed-

-Leeya manages to roll out of the way and revert to normal-

Leeya: Woah! Those are some fancy tricks! Looks like I need backup!

-She fumbles with a crystal attached to her waist until an Electvire energes Pokeball-style-

Brutella! Cross Chop!

Brutella: <Huh? What's going o- we're fighting? OK, I guess!>

-She lunges at Felis and strikes him with the move-

Revy's Grotto

-as the three enter the grotto, the water suddenly clears out-

Brie: More magic?

Ever: Yep.

Amanita: It's probably just a trick with water pressure.

Ever: Whatever you say. Actually no, not whatever you say. It's definitely magic. I can't believe our ancestor was a wizard pirate.

Amanita: Don't you hate him?

Ever: How could I hate a wizard pirate?

-they proceed further into the grotto-

Brie: Does anyone hear that?

-the group stops, and listens. Indeed, there is a quiet skittering, and occasionally clicks-

Amanita: Uh...

Ever: Probably just whatever killed our ancestors.

-he grins, and keeps going. Amanita turns to Brie-

Brie: Is he—

Amanita: He lets ghosts possess him too often, I think.

Ever: (calling back) I heard that!

Amanita: I figured!

 Haina Desert 

-Muddy and Helios step up front and use Protect to take the brunt of Felis' Black Hole Eclipse for the weaker members, though they still take a lot of damage-

But as you get stronger, so will we!

-Pulling out the Mega Pendant-

Muddy!

Muddy: -Has a cocoon form around him as he comes out with an echoed roar-

Hammer Arm!

Muddy: -Brings a fist down on Yin-

Helios: -Uses Bug Buzz on Felis-

Hitodama: -To Yin- <Do you even know how to attack?>

Ali!

Ali: <Right!>

-Crosses my arms before punching the air, Ali mimicking my movements-

Ali: -Sends out a mass of fist and foot Aura projections at Felis and Yin-

Revy's Grotto

Brie: Okay, new question.

Ever: Shoot.

Brie: Where are the bodies? If our ancestors came down here and died, presumably they left bodies, right?

Ever; They're probably all the way at the end. That's usually how things work.

Brie: I stopped hearing echoes, we're almost at the end of the tunnel.

Ever: Something ate them, then?

Brie: Wouldn't we have seen anything big enough to do that?

-Ever turns around to face Brie, still walking-

Ever: Maybe they were devoured by thousands of tiny, bone-eating saltwater fish.

Amanita: Ever.

Ever: The possibilities are endless, really.

Amanita: Ever.

Ever: I guess we'll just have to find ou—

Amanita: Ever!

-she grabs the back of his collar and yanks him backwards-

Ever: Hey! What gi—

Amanita: Look where you're going!

Ever: Huh?

-he does-

-and sees the large hole in space which he was about to walk into-

Ever: Oh. That's unusual.

Haina Desert

-Vierr stares as Henry's attack doesn't do nearly as much as he thought it would, and he is promptly hit by gemlike rays and smacked straight into a giant black hole. It hurts. A lot.-

Vierr: ...Okay, now I don't know what this thing is. Uh, try to yank her out of the thing with Foul Play?

Henry: <Ooh, can I fuse next?>

Vierr: No, you can't.

Henry: <Darn. One of these days!>

-He grabs as close to Mezzo's arm as he can muster, and tries to flip her over and yank her out of the Nihilego-

-Felis backflips out of the way of the incoming attacks, and Yin pounces on Cro as he approaches-

Felis: <Too slow. Too predictable.>

-he then lands on top of Mezzo and notices the bird trying to yank her out-

Felis: <Get lost, punk.>

-and immediately goes for a Night Slash-

-Yin, on the other hand, takes a direct hit from the Mega-boosted Hammer Arm and All-Out Pummeling, and collapses into the sand-

Yin: <I... I won't give in! You can't take her, fiends!>

-he rises back to his feet, his stance a bit wobbly-

-he then hears Hitodama's Taunt, and responds in kind-

Yin: <I'll ask the same question of you, puppet! I will fight on, no matter what happens! Can you? Are you strong enough, or will they throw you away after you've served your purpose?>

-Yin then hurls a blade of psychic energy from his horn toward Ali-

Yin: <You'll never win, monsters!>

Revy's Grotto

Ever: So. Hole in space.

Amanita: Don't touch it.

Ever: I wasn't going to.

Amanita: Yeah you were. I can see it on your face.

Ever: Well, fine. Aren't you curious where it goes, though?

Amanita: Somewhere awful, I'm sure.

Ever: You're such a pessimist.

Brie: Uh, have either of you noticed that the clicking has stopped?

Amanita: ...Now that you mention it, so it has.

Ever: That's because whatever's making it is done following us and is now in position.

-there's a pause-

-and the three turn around to see three strange, paperlike creatures staring at them-

-2 images of Cro remains, excluding the real one. Cro proceeds to use acrobatics on Yin. Gen emerges from Cro's shadow to use another dazzling gleam, still keeping up that smile.-

Krieg: Let's spice things up, Magma!

-Krieg throws a luxury ball, Magma emerges in flame-

Krieg: Magma, help the others by using smokescreen!

Magma:< I heard all your shit's conversation inside my Pokeball. Cocky little bastards aren't yah? I'll advise you on one thing. what you assholes are doing now, isn't helping your trainer at all. You're not loyal to your trainer. In fact, you want her dead! >

-Magma spews enough smoke to cover the entire field-

-And rushes Felis with a Waterfall-

Pici: -Starts glowing with a heat aura-

Legion: -Lashes at Felis with an Aqua Tail-

Ali: -Is instantly knocked out by Yin's Psycho Cut-

Hitodama: -Gets Taunted- <Grr, I'll show you!    BURN!   >

-And sends a wall of flame at Yin-

Lucani: -Sends a Thunder Wave at Felis-

Helios: -Uses Bug Buzz on Yin-

Krieg: Magma, Lava Plume!

-Amidst the smoke, Yin, and Felis soon are surrounded by glowing circles on the ground, before erupting into pillars of magma and flame-

Magma: <Stay away from the Absol that looks like it had a glamor failure, that one's mine!>

Lyn:< I'm getting that Liepard that's been all acting high and mighty>

-stones of spike erupts from the ground to hit Felis. Lyn is laughing. If Lyn likes one thing, it's something akin to a gang war.-

Felis: <If you knew the first thing about loyalty, you wouldn't be doing this right now. Or what, is it okay because your trainer is a "good guy"?>

-unfortunately, it doesn't do a thing to protect him against the other attacks, and he is immediately knocked down from his perch on top of Mezzo by the Waterfall, then smacked into the sand by an Aqua Tail, burned by a Lava Plume, and then knocked into the air again by a Stone Edge-

-he lands on his feet and slides onto the sand-

Felis: <...I meant to do that.>

-and then collapses-

-Yin on the other hand manages to dodge out of the way of Hitodama's Inferno... except for a tiny spark that hit him right on the nose-

-and made him drop straight to the ground, his Mega form fading-

♀☣→→♠: No... no! This isn't fair! You can't do this to me!

PEFE HQ — Diane's Module

-Diane receives a scallop shell to the back of the head.-

Diane: Ow!

-She whirls around in her chair-

Diane: Dew, what was that for?

Dew: -lying on her back on the ground and staring at the ceiling- <Wasn't me.>

Diane: ...Huh. If you say so.

-She spins back around and returns to work on some sort of desk setup with multiple monitors.-

-Henry is Night Slashed, but Felis goes down shortly after-

Henry: <Geez, rude. Lemme try again now that you're not bugging me.>

-He tries yanking Mezzo out again-

-Krieg gathers his Pokemon back. Now, it wasn't a Pokemon they were dealing with, they were dealing with a monster. Krieg remembers a time when he faced someone with a threatening aura as the Nihilego-infused Mezzo. Even the vague awareness of that incident sends shivers down his spine.

Magma: <You Pokemon were foolish. It wasn't because your trainer is good or your trainer is bad. That doesn't matter. What does matter is that you were just blindly following your trainer's orders. You considered only what your trainer wanted, not what your trainer needed. While you're fast asleep, try thinking about that. Of course with a trainer as foolish as this, you wouldn't have learned any of that.>

Lyn:< Hey, stop that, you trying to kill her?>

-Lyn barks at Henry-

That's just the residual neurotoxin talking.

Muddy, restrain her, I don't want any surprises.

Muddy: -Moves to grab Mezzo-

-To the Nihilego-

As for you, since I can't exactly just leave you to run around and find some new host...

-Throws the Ball at it-

Vierr: Okay, good, it worked.

Vierr: I genuinely can't tell if you're trying to insult her in a roundabout way or not.

-Picking up the Beast Ball-

Honestly, I'm not sure what we're gonna do with it, the Aether Foundation didn't actually leave me with any instructions when I was informed of the Beasts. Perhaps we ought to figure it out with another J-Team meeting?

-Krieg returns all his Pokemons back to their pokeball and opens his comm-

Krieg: Good news

Man in White: Did you successfully contain Nihilego into Haina desert?

Krieg: Even better, we neutralised it.

-The Man in White breathes a sigh of relief.-

Man in White: Good job. Catch the Nihelgo and bring it back.

Krieg: too late, someone already caught it.

Beat

Man in White: What, who?

Krieg: I don't know, someone already had a beast ball. Hey, what's your name?

-Kreig tries to catch Tagg's attention-
