Volt opened the Chambers and looked inside, "Empty for one, hell the transmitters have been torn out. I wonder why..."

"I can answer the compatibility bit," said Silas, "The programming and brain unit are entirely Porygon compatible. Most of our tools and devices are."

Asimov HQ

Zeke walked out to greet the two, his frown had been replaced by a more neutral look, "What brings you to my Island? And who are you?"

Asimov HQ

Maggie: "Cool."

Wonder if any of the PEFEgons would be able to make use of something like that.

-The man scowls-

Dave: Us? We're here from PEFE!

Mia: <Your outfit is strange.>

Asimov HQ, Near Zeke

Through the power of shenanigans and an extremely strong gust of wind, a Staraptor has gotten blown to this island and flops to the ground near Zeke, Dave, and Mia.

Staraptor: <.. Whoa, what the heck was that?>

-Mia looks over to the grounded Staraptor, immediately thinking "lunch"-

Zeke perks up a bit, "Oh? PEFE? Fantastic! I've been hearing a lot about you guys, what brings you by the island? Interested in our space age technologies?"

Zeke extends a hand towards dave, "My name is Captain Ezekiel Thriers, leader of Team Asimov."

Asimov HQ, Near Zeke

The Staraptor gives Mia a look back, entirely unaware of her thoughts.

Route 2, Melemele Island, Past

Zachary is standing in front of the entrance to Verdant Cavern, he suddenly fistbumps the air as Nack and Hamilton jump up in excitement.

Zachary: "Alright! Time for my first Island Trial!"

Zachary walks in and is greeted by Ilima.

Ilima: "Hello there! I am Trial Captain Ilima, and I shall guide you through this Trial, it's actually pretty simple, all you need to do is fight your way through the Wild Pokémon as you make your way through the cave, and other end you should find the Normalium-Z, just pick it up and return here and voila!"

Hamilton: <...Huh, gotta admit, that does sound pretty easy.>

Nack: <Pssh, yeah, some wild Pokémon are nothing I can't handle.>

Zachary: "Alright then, let's go!"

Zachary moves forwards when suddenly out of a small hole a Yungoos pops out and runs into him causing him to trip and fall down deeper into the cave.

Zachary: "...Ack...Lovely..."

Zachary gets up and looks around, finding more holes with more Yungoos inside laughing at him until some of the Yungoos jump out of their holes and drop down to where Zachary is, getting closer and hissing at him.

Nack: <...Alright, so this may be ever so slightly harder than I first expected.>

Meanwhile, in the present...

Malie Garden, Ula'Ula Island, Present

...A civilian woman trips and falls to the ground, dropping her purse in the process, when she looks up she finds an item has fallen from her purse and into the river.

Civilian: "Oh no! My wallet! Aw man..."

The woman stares at the wallet flowing away through the river until a bunch of Goldeen appear and take it away, when all of the sudden, a young girl looking at the whole ordeal runs up to her.

Girl: "Don't worry, lady! I'll go get your wallet!"

Civilian: "W...Wha? Do I even know you?"

Girl: "Nope, but remember my name, because I'm gonna be the girl that solves all the problems in the world! I'm Jenna Karigan, and here I go!"

Jenna jumps out of the bridge and into the river, scaring the fish Pokémon and angering a few nearby fishermen as she swims after the Goldeen.

Jenna: "Hey! That's not your's! Give that back!"

Goldeen #1: <Oh crap, oh crap, oh craaappp...You said we'd be fine, man!>

Goldeen #2: <Yeah, I didn't think someone would actually jump in and chase after us! Just keep swimming, man! Just keep swimming!>

Golden #3: <I'VE ALREADY SERVED MY NICKEL, YOU COME AND TAKE ME!>

One of the Goldeen turns around and tries to use Horn Attack on Jenna, but she gets out a PokéBall and calls out a Togedemaru which blocks the hit and ends up hurting the Goldeen back with its Iron Barbs ability.

Rodeal: <*sigh* Good to know I've finally achieved meat shield status...>

Goldeen #3: <Gack! My horn! This ain't worth it, man! I'm out of here!>

The Goldeen swims away while the other two Goldeen try to get away with the wallet.

Jenna: "I'm gonna lose 'em! Rodeal! Use Thunderbolt!"

Rodeal: <W-What!? I...I ain't doing that!>

Rodeal shakes her head.

Jenna: "I SAID DO IT!"

Rodeal: <Ugh, fine, but I'm not taking responsibility for this!>

Rodeal uses Thunderbolt, shocking the Goldeen...as well as the nearby fish Pokémon, and Jenna herself. In the end, the Goldeen faint and Jenna manages to take the wallet back to her owner.

Jenna: "No need to thank me! I'm just doing my job!"

Civilian: "...You could've just...called a park ranger or something instead of making all that fuss..."

Some men in uniform show up behind Jen and turn her around.

Jenna: "...Hehe...he..."

Guard: "Miss, for creating disturbances, swimming in the river, and electrocuting said river, we're gonna have to fine you and kick you out."

Jenna: "...Can't we...talk this out? ...Oh, who am I kidding, how much is the fine?"

Later...

Malie City, Ula'Ula Island

Jenna: "Well, now I can't go on Malie Garden for a month or so, and I have to pay this fine...But at least that woman got her wallet back!"

Rodeal: <You really do look at the world through rose-tinted glasses, don't you?>

Jenna smirks and sits down on a bench, she is free to be interacted with.

Zeke had become instantly a lot friendlier, his trademark smile was back and he was ready to get working. "So, tell me, what brings you by here? How can Asimov help you out?"

Team Iron Auxiliary Base

-Doctor Aulstyne stomps down the hallway, her pink bob bouncing as she ever so slightly as she overemphasizes her steps. While from an outside perspective it might look comical, everyone in the hallway slams themselves up against the wall as soon as they realize it's her.-

-This continues until she gets to Doctor Orlandeau's office.-

Aulstyne: BARTHOLOMEW!

-Orlandeau gives a heavy sigh.-

Orlandeau: Yes, Johanna?

-Aulstyne kicks in the door to the office. The metal plate gives a pained whine as it meekly tries to retract.-

Aulstyne: WHY are my officers banned from the commissary?!

-Orlandeau grabs a file and tosses it at her. She catches it, flips it open, and her anger quickly fizzles.-

Aulstyne: ... Oh.

Orlandeau: Until you can get your security officers under control-

Aulstyne: I will talk to him. Today. He will be in later today to fix your door.

-The door sparks and sputters as the small engine for the sliding action gives out.-

Aulstyne: Sorry about that.

-She goes back out into the hallway, and takes a deep breath.-

Aulstyne: BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Konikoni City

-Ludmilla is sitting on a bench looking out at the ocean.-

Fluorine: ~Oh my GOD she's just been MOPING for the last TWO WEEKS!~

Chlorine: ~This isn't quite what I thought would be the case, but I suppose after having to fight Titanium and Zinc, she would be a bit rattled.~

Fluorine: ~She's one of US, dammit! This is a disgrace! Why won't they just let us KILL her already?!~

Bromine: ~I dunno, I kinda like not having to worry about that newer batch of Students that transferred. They creep me out.~

Chlorine: ~For once, I'm with Bromine. Those newbies are... eugh. I dunno how to put it.~

Pyrite Town

-Dune is heading to a meeting before going to Mt. Battle.-

The GM House

-Galvani is finishing the blueprints of what appears to be a hangar. Oddly enough, it doesn't seem to include what materials the roof will be made of...-

Entrance of Malie Garden, Ula'Ula Island

Jen overhears the talking and turns around.

Jenna: "Um, hello there! Sorry, it's just you two look so cool with the white hair and-"

Jen tries to walk in but the guards stop her and glare at her.

Jenna: "...Oh yeah...Well, my name is Jenna Karigan, you can call me Jen, what's your name?"

Rodeal: <Typical, she just sees two random people and starts talking to them because she thinks they look weird.>

Ferry to Poni

Ahe: Yeah, but I can't help getting that sinking feeling, you know?

Ferry to Poni

Hajime: "Ah... hopefully that's just anxiety or something acting up, but..."

Asimov HQ

Dave: You guys do space stuff, right?

Malie Garden

-The two people stop arguing when they hear Jenna-

Human!Ilya: Um... Thank you?

La: Uh, kid. Those guys giving you trouble?

"Yeah we deal with space age technologies," Zeke responded, a Rocket lifting to air in the background, "You wanna see?"

Volt checked the other one, "Pretty much the same. Are you two shmucks hiding something?"

The technicians could only deny, clearly they were.

-Mezzo is wandering around with Sunny walking nearby and Freya on her shoulder-

Sunny: <So now what do we do? Join up with everyone again?>

Freya: <What do you mean by 'everyone'?>

Mezzo: Oh, there's this group of trainers we usually travel with, but I haven't seen them in a while. Honestly though, I'm not really sure what I want to do next.

-Mezzo sighs-

Mezzo: I'd like to see her again, but who knows where she went.

Freya: <Who?>

Sunny: <Huh?>

Mezzo: You remember, right, Sunny? That friendly hat-looking thing. Well, I guess I don't really know if it's a 'her', but she looked like one.

Sunny: <...You probably shouldn't be meeting up with that again.>

Pianis: So, plans?

Forte: Huh? Uh, well, I still need to meet that Jolteon person who lives here, but Celeste is still busy studying magic or... whatever she's doing.

Shadow: <Celeste isn't a Jolteon.>

Forte: Okay, yeah, I guess I could take Electro and go meet her... or something.

-Lyra gazes at the technicians quizically.-

Lyra: ~Something you'd like to say? I could always only speak to you two telepathically.~

Malie Garden Entrance, Ula'Ula Island

Jenna: "Uh, what? No, no! These guys are just guards that kicked me out for swimming in the river...Long story....They're just doing their job! Just like I did my job of...being a hero!"

Jenna proudly poses as the two guards roll their eyes and push her back.

Meanwhile, in the past...

Verdant Cavern, Melemele Island, Past

...Nack is fighting against one of the Yungoos while Hamilton takes care of another, Hamilton Water Guns one of them and Nack defeats the other with Mega Drain.

Nack: <Oof, okay, let's get out of here before another one of those rodents gets the jump on us!>

Hamilton: <Oh man, I feel...weirdly...stronger I guess? Or would "smarter" be a more appropiate word?>

Nack: <Oh, let me guess, you just feel like you suddenly "know" a new attack, right?>

Hamilton: <Yeah, yeah!>

Nack: <Well, you probably do.>

Suddenly, the Yungoos in the holes get angry after seeing their fellow Yungoos fainted, all of them hiss and jump down at the same time.

Zachary: "aaaAAAAHH, IT'S RODENT OVERLOAD!"

The pack of Yungoos all land at the bottom of the cave, creating a sea of fur with Zachary desperately trying to get out as the Yungoos keep biting him.

Zachary: "Ohhhh Arceus they're EVERYWH— OW! MY ANKLES!"

Hamilton: <I think it's time I used my new move!>

Hamilton uses Disarming Voice, producing a lovely melody...that quickly shifts into a horrifying tune that sounds like the roars of Giratina himself, this sound ends up legitimately hurting the Yungoos, to the point where they back away, allowing a confused and scared Zachary to safely climb back up.

Zachary: "Well, hopefully we shouldn't have any more problems now..."

Zachary walks towards the light in the other side of the cave...
