Some are wandering the streets, though they don't seem to be moving with any real purpose; others are skulking in the rotting buildings, away from the rain.)

-Typhoon, being a Solo Forme Wishiwashi, is unable to walk, so he is swimming in one of the water filled trenches. Ahe and Bagon are walking alongside the trench-
Typhoon: <So, Bagon, what's it like to be a captured Pokemon?>
Bagon: <From what I can tell, it's pretty nice. I've only been caught for a few days, but I'm already way more powerful than I was.>
Typhoon: <As in?>
Bagon: <Well, I already know a bunch of moves I couldn't have learned in the wild, and I'm growing way faster than I was before. At the rate I've been growing, I'll be a Shelgon in a few days.>
Typhoon: -whistles- <Wow, that's... impressive.>
-Ahe stops walking-
Ahe: Bagon, Typhoon, hold up.
-Ahe, Bagon, and Typhoon look up at the largest building in Po Town. It's a run-down two story mansion with a bunch of missing windows. Ahe recalls Bagon and Typhoon and enters the mansion-

Silas stepped forward, "Long story Zeke. I'll explain, we still got stuff to do anyways."
Ezekiel sighed and stepped back, "You're right, perhaps we'll meet again sometime soon!"
With that, he was off, Johnathan and Carol following, Silas hung back for a moment, "You're one of the shapeshifters in the J-Team aren't you?"

Youko: Well, sure. Used to be, you could only do the trial if you lived in Alola. Even though the League is open to all comers, the trial areas are still sacred spaces. You can't just be any old tourist wandering in.

(The segments of Ahe's team consisting only of Pokemon run into surprisingly little trouble. The Grunts give these strange wandering Pokemon wary looks, but none of them try to attack or throw useless Pokeballs.)
(There is one exception, however...)
Approaching the Shady House
(As Ahe and his two present team members head for the run-down mansion, a large contingent of Skull Grunts run to block the doorway in an intense panic. One of them, a rather physically imposing male Grunt, addresses Ahe.)
Grunt: Y-yo! We don't let no outsiders into our mansion, ya hear?

The short version - my team and I went to the Ruins of Life to look for the Shrine of the Pendant. I stepped in this thick, oily puddle, which began to crawl (I guess?) up my leg. Then, it - transformed into a copy of me, like a Ditto. Then, it started transforming and speaking, but it wasn't speech. Its mouth didn't move, and the words sounded...inhumane and just wrong. It seemed suprised that we didn't know who/what it was, and it told us that it was "Chaos, the second Shard of Calamity". Then, it disappeared. Just gone in the blink of an eye. Oh, and when it took my form, it said it was hoping for something stronger after its last humiliating defeat. When it left, it said it was going to look for others and would see me again soon. I assume there are more shards, but I'm reeling from it still.
Kaisei: "Uh yeah, see you."
-He heads off himself-
"Well, guess I shouldn't be surprised..."
Uh, wow, yeah. There are indeed more. Hold on, lemme tell the others...
