-Dimo slides down the sand dune, keeping his balance with practiced ease.-

-The sand stops under Dimo's feet, but his momentum does not. He goes tumbling end over end until he ends up at the bottom of the dune, where a short woman with shining bronze hair waits. She is tapping her foot impatiently.-

Chromie: And where do you think you're going?

-Dimo spits profanities as he pulls himself up.-

Dimo: <Hy am go-eeng to tell my Mistress ze location of a creeminal.>

-Chromie shakes her head.-

Chromie: No, you're not.

Dimo: <Yes, Hy am.>

-Chromie's eye twitches.-

Chromie: It's my job to prevent paradoxes in this family of timelines. You go there now, you'll mess up more than just your birth and rebirth.

-Dimo scowls.-

Dimo: <Den hyu know ve never found vhere Orllof vent. I found heem in dis timeline, und vith all de changes, dis is the only vay they'll know about the School before someting terrible heppens.>

Chromie: I. Don't. Care. You are not going to fuck up my timeline beyond what's already happened.

-Dimo throws his spiked arms towards the sky.-

Dimo: <LOOK AROUND! Dis timeline ees already fucked up! Me und my brodders heff been trackink glitchy scent from region to region for VEEKS! Eef feexing vun problem before it gets too big makes a problem ve don't de answer to easier, vhy not?!>

-Chromie screams in frustration.-

Chromie: And what problems would arise from THAT?! You have to consider every possibility!

Dimo: <Hy'm considering ze possibility vere none of ze other choices matter!>

-Chromie's form shifts as thousands of years pass in a matter of milliseconds. Eons pass as two giant, leathery wings spread to the farthest horizons. A tail as long as a millennium stretches behind her, and a neck as tall as the cliffs of time reaches skyward, upon which a head draped in bronze tattoos looks down.-

-Songs of sand and time sing from the impossibly ancient Flygon EX's body as she towers over the impudent Cacturne.-

Chromie: THIS TIMELINE IS MY DOMAIN!

-Dimo points at her.-

Dimo: <WRONG!>

-He crosses his arms.-

Dimo: <Dis timeline belongs to hyu boss! Und hyu boss told me und my brodders to clean up ze glitches! Und dat is vhat ve're doing! Hy von't be inteemidated by some trumped up bug-lizard!>

Chromie: YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME ON THIS?!

Dimo: <Hy've killed BIGGER und MEANER den HYU!>

-Chromie scowls at the Cacturne as she brushes some bronze hair out of her face.-

Chromie: Fine.

-Her voice drips with venom.-

Chromie: Go ahead, make a paradox. When you're ripped out of existence because you spilled the beans on the Jagerdraught, I won't be there to rescue you.

-She walks away and was never there.-

-Dimo's brow furrows. She, despite her hostility, was right - he can't just go up and say, "Hi, I'm one of your most trusted supersoldiers, yeah, I turned out to be a real badass, oh wait you mean I haven't even hatched yet? Oh shi-". That would just be awkward.-

Dimo: <Hy need... a plan.>

-The Ice Beam hits Ace hard, causing him to plummet down to earth before gaining height and going far beyond the reach of the enemy Mons.-

*Dink, donk*

Deziree: Coming!

-Deziree opens the door with a smile on her face, only for the smile to melt into a dropped jaw of amazement.-

-Standing before her is a Cacturne wearing a bushy hispanic mustache, a sombrero, and a pancho with the words "Mariachi Dancink Meessags" on it.-

Mustachio'd Cacturne: <Ole!>

-The Cacturne lays his hat on the ground and starts dancing around it.-

-Deziree just kinda... stares. She's mostly wondering how he spelled "mariachi" correctly, but not "messages".-

-After finishing his dance, the Cacturne hands Deziree a piece of folded paper. She looks down at it, during which the Cacturne's mustache falls off. He scrambles to get it back on before she notices.-

Deziree: I... uh...

-The Cacturne bows as Deziree looks up from the folded paper and quickly skedaddles.-

Deziree: But! Wait! Don't I have to pay you?!

Mustachio'd Cacturne: <Eez on de house!>

-Deziree takes a moment to recover from what she just witnessed before unfolding the paper. On it is a rough topographical map with a big X marked on it, with an arrow pointing to it and the words "EEZ BAD MAN" in bold red marker.-

-A ways away, the Cacturne, knowing that a certain bossy Flygon EX is watching, smugly smiles to himself.-

Dimo: <Hy eez tacteecal!>

-The Wishiwashi and Alomomola look up as Ace gains height-

-The Wishiwashi uses this opportunity to form an Aqua Ring around themselves-

-A certain Haunter is around, doing nothing of consequence-

Route 5

-Locke raises an eyebrow at Ghostus-

-Ghostus raises an eyebrow at Locke raising an eyebrow at him-

Ghostus: <What?>

Route 5

Locke: Do I know you?

-Shaun frowns at the Aqua Ring and begins digging in his pack.-

-Meanwhile, Ace plummets downwards like a missle towards the Wishiwashi.-

Ghostus: <Don't think so. Unless you're one of those team people I forgot about.>

-The Wishiwashi is struck by the Fly, taking a fair bit of damage-

-This is, however, quickly undone, as the Alomomola sends a Heal Pulse at the mass of fishes-

-The Wishiwashi then shoots out another Ice Beam-

Locke: Well I certainly seem to remember you from something... Yet not how...

Ghostus: <Weird. Unless you're confusing me for some other Haunter.>

-Shadow is playing a particular fantasy card game on Forte's laptop; Pianis is watching-

Pianis: Wait, hold on. You have Purify in your deck?

Shadow: <Yes.>

Celeste: <Oh! I remember that one!>

Pianis: Didn't you send me a 7-page-long rant in which you said it was, quote, "literally the worst card Powder Snow has ever printed"?

Shadow: <Yes.>

Pianis: And now you're using it?

Shadow: <Things change, okay? The metagame is fickle.>

Pianis: Whatever.

-a short distance away, Forte is pacing back and forth-

Forte: I'm bored. Why aren't we going somewhere or doing something?

Mezzo: I dunno. I kinda like just camping out here. The atmosphere is great.

Forte: No... it's just empty.

Route 5

Locke: Yeah, that might have been i-

-he feels something jabbing at his leg-

-He looks down to see a Fomantis-

Fomantis: <Who are you? What are you doing in my territory?>

Ghostus: <Well, you didn't make it too hard to get in here.>

-The second Ice Beam causes Ace to faint.-

Shaun: "Arceusdamnit! Ruby, you're up!"

Ruby: "Ruffians! Hurting Ace..."

-She raises her roses skyward and they begin to glow white. The sky clears and the sun appears.

-While somewhat perturbed by the now-bright sunlight, the Totem Wishiwashi lets off an Ice Beam, accompanied by the Alomomola's Helping Hand-

Phaz: Oh, okay. Well... Stuff happened to me. Do you know anything about Fallers first?

Iki Town - Past

Sergey: "Nyet, not really."

He shook his head.

Paniola - Past

Loran: <Next time I'll be super duper strong strong~>

Sergey: "Say, do you have any tips for me?"

Iki Town

Phaz: Okay so... What if I told you there was a parallel world with other Pokemons that we named "Ultra Beasts", and that I accidentally went into this world, with the help of a blue rift?

Hajime: "Uh... maybe try sticking with physical attacks for Loran generally? I don't think the Flash Cannon did as much as the Rock Blast."

Iki Town - Past

Sergey tilted his head, keeping quiet for a while

Sergey: "Uhh... if that would come from someone else I'd probably laugh, but Ja... go on."

Paniola - Past

Sergey: "Physical, got it. Anything else?"

Paniola, vorgestern

Hajime:"Uh... not sure. Thought you did pretty well otherwise."

Iki Town

Phaz: ...Well this happened to me. Twice. First time I don't remember, but I woke up in a hospital in Alola, while I was in Sinnoh beforehand. I lost Ashley and Cynthia in the process, which I recovered when I went a second time in this dimention, with the help of the Æther Foundation. I also stopped a criminal who send me in the place first, with the help of Soujin and his team.

Sergey: "Huh... that sounds like quite the experience... hope it wasn't too bad."

Sergey: "Huh good" :)
