-Star looks over at Snimm and Khoshekh messing around and giggles to herself-

-Marie looks up at Daydre-

Marie: < Oh, It's you. Daydre, right?>

Ever: I feel like we've been wandering for hours.

Muninn: <Because we have.>

Ever: You don't need to rub it in.

Muninn: <And why not?>

Ever: Because I'm pretty sure the person over there with the hat and coat is Pleth in disguise.

Muninn: <Hey! I wasn't doing anything!>

Pleth: <Yeah, but the comic timing was perfect.>

Muninn: -hiss-

Ever: Pleth, please put those back wherever you got them.

Pleth: <Aww.>

-as Pleth leaves to return the clothes to a nearby store, Narrow descends from above-

Ever: Any luck finding a way off the island?

Narrow: <Nope. All I saw was a Mareanie eating a Corsola.>

-Ever shudders-

Muninn: <What? If it needs to ask for help, it's probably a mercy.>

Ever: I'll keep that in mind.

-he frowns-

Ever: There has to be a boat somewhere.

Narrow: <A what?>

-pause-

Ever: ...Narrow, when I sent you to go find a way off the island, what is it you were looking for?

Narrow: <I dunno, I just figured you were hoping I'd find a land bridge or a place where the islands are close or something.>

-...-

Narrow: <What does it mean when humans put their hands on their face like that?>

Muninn: <He's questioning his will to live.>

Narrow: <Huh.>

Shaun: "Fighting isn't the only thing you can do with Pokemon, so don't worry about it."

Shaun checked his Poketech. "Hey, do you wanna get something to eat?"

Zachary stares at the phone for a few moments.

Zachary: "I uh...I don't play the game but I kinda know about it...Did you happen to input your real name into it? ...Or maybe the game grabbed your personal info...But that would be really creepy."

Nack manages to push away Zachary's hand in order to speak.

Nack: <Or maybe your phone's been possesed by the spirit of your dead long-lost cousin from Almia twice removed named Emiliano! Oooo OO Oooo OOOO!>

Zachary rolls his eyes at Nack's comment.

Zachary: "By the way, uh, I just realized we haven't introduced each other! My name is Zachary and I, uh...I assume your name is Locke from that message?"

Hau'oli City

-In frustration, Snimm jabs Khoshekh in the side, and keeps pestering him until he accidentally messes with the Espurr's ears.-

-FWOOOOOM.-

-The resulting blast of Psychic power sends the Sneasel flying — harmlessly, because Dark-type — and he lands right next to Star.-

Snimm: <Oof! Hi!>

Vierr: Snimm, don't mess with Khoshekh's ears. You know that's unhealthy for you.

Sergey gave another nod, smiling this time

Sergey: "Yep, preferring contests actually, they're fun." ^_^ "and sure, I'd love to grab a bite."

"Yeah.. I don't think I ever got your name. You hang around in the Velvet Room sometimes, right?"

Shaun: "Cool. I don't think there are any resturants around here, though. All I can think of is the Pokecenter cafes and the Battle Buffet in Hau'oli City. If you have a Flying-type we could go there."

Locke: The name thing would explain it if I didn't imput my nickname instead of my actual name...

Locke: You're right this is getting creepy I should stop

-Locke exits the app, stows the phone away, and shakes Zachary's hand-

Locke: Yes, my name is Locke. Nice to meet you, Zachary.

Ever: Hmm...I could always unbox Drift, Surf across...

Kid: Nope.

Ever: Oh Arceus where did you come from.

Kid: Look, Ever, I don't want to have to hurt you. But it's my job. You mess with the rules, I put you back where you're supposed to be.

Ever: How do you know my name?

Kid: That's really your first question about me?

-he sighs-

Kid: Can't you just, like, get from place to place how people normally do?

Ever: That being...

Kid: ...

-anyway, there's nobody there-

Ever: That was uninformative.

Muninn: <Is your life always this strange?>

Narrow: <Please say yes.>

Ever: Weirdly, having a Latios repeatedly try to kill me is one of the more logically consistent aspects, yes.

-laughs- Hi.

-she looks up at Vierr-

Not messing with an Espurr's ears is good advice. These your Pokemon?

-Marie nods-

Marie: <Yup. Name's Marie.>

Hau'oli City

"Nice to officially meet you.. Also, what are you doing here?"

Hau'oli City

Vierr: Hmm? Oh, yeah, they are. Sorta. The Espurr just sorta follows me around, I haven't actually caught him even though I caught the other Pokemon that just followed me.

-Snimm gets up and goes back over to Khoshekh, who had been knocked over from the Psychic blast's recoil.-

Snimm: <Come on, get up!>

Khoshekh: <Nyeh.>

Vierr: He's sorta weird.

-Elsewhere, Scarlette is letting Calliope pick fights with the local Meowth to train.-

Iki Town - Past

Sergey got out Mistral's ball with a nod, releasing her.

The Tropius looked around a bit, seemingly slightly unsure but also happy.

Sergey: "She's still a bit shy around other humans, sorry."

He pat her on the head before suddenly realizing something

Sergey: "W-Wait... this is alola... I don't have a license to ride her yet, and I don't have the PokéRide either... err... sorry" ;^_^

Hau'oli City, Shore

I can see that.

Kinda reminds me of one of my own Pokemon. Except instead of picking ill-thought out fights, he just messes with everybody.

Hau'oli City, Elsewhere

Marie: <The Nose wanted me to explore the world outside the Velvet Room, so now I'm out here.>

-She pulls her hat off and uses it to fan herself-

Marie: <It's really hot here, though. It's the complete opposite of that really snowy place, but just as bad.>

Vierr: Oh? Which one?

-Snimm is now manually setting Khoshekh back upright. Khoshekh isn't resisting, necessarily, but sure isn't making it any easier.-

Shaun did a double take. "Wait, you need a license in Alola?"

Near Scarlette

-a thin white-haired boy walks near her, his own Popplio about-

October, a Mismagius. He followed me around for a bit when I first met him, then I caught him. And now he uses Psychic to move things when I'm not looking :|.

Hau'oli City

"Yeah it is pretty hot..." It should be noted that before coming here, Daydre changed into more summery clothing.

"Do you have water on you right now? It's really not fun walking around in the heat without it.."

Hau'oli City

-Vierr grimaces.-

Vierr: That sounds more like the other two I was talking about. A pair of Delta Stantler that were constantly Illusioning themselves out of sight and messing with people. Mostly me. The paranoia wasn't fun.

-Snimm sighs at Khoshekh, and drops him back onto the ground before going to dig through Vierr's bag.-

-Calliope sees the other Popplio, and immediately rushes toward him.-

Scarlette: W-wait, Calliope, hold on, that's a trainer's Pokemon not a wild one!

Calliope: <Exactly! The wild ones are boring!>

Iki Town - Past

Sergey gave a nod

Sergey: "Aye, although there are special riding Pokémon... for who you need a PokéMobil to call them, which I don't have yet." ;^_^ "Sorry."

-Joseph yelps out in surprise as Calliope charges towards Pagliacco-

Joseph: HEY! Watch out, there!

-Pagliacco, on the other hand, shows no particular interest in reciprocating the Popplio's aggression. He simply honks, disarmingly-

Shaun: "That's fine. I wish I had known that before I flew here. I could still buy you a drink at the Route 1 Pokecenter if you're staying there."

Hau'oli City

-Scarlette runs over and scoops up Calliope with her good arm before he can actually get in a fight.-

Scarlette: Ahhhh sorry he's really eager to battle sometimes I'm so sorry

Calliope: <I've gotta train for the Trial, don't I? It's a lot better fighting Trainers for that!>
