I have no idea where this fits in the timeline now anymore, lol. Should have waited to post until I had all the parts ready. oh well!

-The day after Blitz's battle with the rich kid finds the Thorne family, plus the abandoned Torchic just finishing breakfast together. Nobody was quite sure where the Ditto slipped off to while his former trainer ran to the pokemon center-

-Though there was still one or two things that hadn't officially been taken care of...-

Blitz: "I almost forgot I missed your cooking, Mom. Thanks"

Laura: "Of course, it's been nice to have you back for a bit. Though, didn't expect it would be quite so exciting"

-Blitz chuckles as he stand and takes his dishes to the sink-

"Yeah... Happens sometimes. I guess you and Dad are gonna find someone to look after the Torchic?"

Derik: "Actually, we were thinking you ought to take him. You're travelling after all, it'd be good for him"

-The baby Torchic chirps happily from his perch in the older breeder's arms-

"Besides, I think you impressed him"

Blitz: "Oh. Uh... Sure. Why not?"

-Blitz crouches to get a pokeball from his bag, but has to hold it away from the Torchic who tried to peck at the button after being set down by Derik-

"Hey, hey, hold on a sec. this one's not yours! We'll worry about that later, okay?"

Torichic: <Chic!>

-A Natu is released from the ball, and Blitz waves to his parents-

Blitz: "Alright, see ya later then. Down?"

Laura: "Wait a moment. You're going to meet up with Tori soon, right?"

Blitz: "Huh? Probably, soon enough anyway, why?"

Laura: "Then how about you take an egg for her while you're at it?"

Blirz: "Sure, I guess. You're sure trying to cram a lot into my visit, huh?"

Laura: "Well, maybe if you visited more than once every couple of years, we wouldn't have to"

Blitz: -Chuckles- "Fair enough"

-a potion bottle wibbles slightly as in Blitz's bag as space is made to hold the egg, but soon enough the trainer and his mon are teleported away from Hoenn with a ~blip~-

Forte: Uh... that's awkward. How do we fix it? Is this gonna end up with me dying because I'm dead in the alternate timeline?

-After what seemed like an eternity, the hidden caves beneath the beaten path within the mountain finally come into clarity once again. In the middle of one room, a familiar Charizard, one who has hybridized himself with his Gabite underlings. Around him, seven... no... five? Five armored Dunsparce? Were there always five?-

-Something seems... off.-

-No time to dwell on this, though, because the hybrid Charizard is more furious than ever, although he has been visibly weakened.-

Ridley: <You pests have remained a thorn in my side for far too long...>

-He lunges at Samus, who is too busy snapping out of a daze to respond.-

-Ridley carries her up into the air, making no effort to defend himself from any of the others.-
