-The group is in a geology laboratory, the Stevens in particular looking around...

Steven 1: -looking around- Let's see, let's see, what here would be good for analyzing a gem of phenomenal cosmic power?

-The others may notice some meteor fragments near one machine flickering oddly. Said meteor fragments may be familiar to Tagg-

-Aurocalypse turns dramatically to Psyche-

Aurocalypse:    Halt! Who are you, newcomer?!

-Noticing the meteor fragments-

Hey, are those from the meteor we stopped from killing everything on the planet last year?

Psyche glares at Aurocalypse. ~Listen, I haven't had a chance to hug my girlfriend in 6 months. I want to have A FUCKING HAPPY MOMENT CAN YOU ALL CHILL FOR FIVE FUCKING SECONDS? Thnx~

-Blitz wanders about with his hands in his pockets, being careful to not get in the way or touch anything as he looks at the various equipment and idly wonders what various things are used for-

-The flickering machine looks interesting enough to draw his attention for a bit before he hears Tagg mention the meteor shards-

-the fragments suddenly flicker out of existence-

Steven A: ...Okay, what's going on here? What meteor incident?

Steven 1: Did you have to deal with a certain Zinnia trying to get Rayquaza to stop a meteor?

'Steven A: -thinks, snaps fingers- ...Oh, yes! [REDACTED] helped take care of that right after the Groudon and Kyogre incident!

Steven 1: Wait, right after? That can't be right, this happened nearly eleven years after that incident! And they were stopped separately by a J-Team member named Gamer and a living video game character named Robin working with a future Champion named Jacob and a second Rayquaza named Vyvyan! Though Zinnia did mention that in her crazed ramblings on alternate timelines, so that likely applies to you...

-puts a hand to his to his chin-

...Well, I think she rambled about it. My memory of everything past the second Devon visit is suddenly rather fuz-

-Beat-

...Oh no.

Kendall: Wait... Wasn't this Robin one of Umbra's friends?

-Blitz looks rather confused by the sudden lack of meteor shards, and Steven's sudden memory fuzzyness-

Blitz: "Robin? I think I heard something about him hanging out with Umbra or his friends... Was always a little funny playing him in Smash after I met the real thing"

-He turns to Kendall, suddenly not sure he's going to like the answer to his question-

I'm thinking that means that whatever's screwing with us probably snatched away Robin around that time.

Psyche sweatdrops. ~Admittedly, it was kinda a weird day, I had just got dumped by my ex, and I kinda left in a hurry and ran into her, and we uh, kinda rushed into dating from there, admittedly.~

Noelle: What she said, pretty much. But she's been a great girlfriend!

Psyche sweatdrops. ~Except for my tendency to vanish for several months on end because I'm dying of psychic trauma.~

Gilgamesh: I think Pipsqueak is on to something... Whatever nicked Bird Is The Word obviously messed up the meteor thing too somehow in relation...

Steven A: ...Well great. Though at least I have an idea.

-to Steven 1, pointing to the machine where the asteroid fragments were-

To put things in layman's terms, that one's for looking at space rocks, right? You think it can give a cosmic rock a go?

Steven 1: -thinks, then nods- ...I believe so. Kendall, you do the honors?

-Kendall nods enthusiastically and places the Shard into the device, only to yelp and cower when various lights and cameras swivel toward them. Steven 1 motions for them to move back-

It's OK, just come back with us, for whatever reason something about you threw off the sensors...

-Kendall does so-

Kendall: Sorry, sorry, so terribly sorry...

-The sensors realign to the Shard, and start giving off strange readings-

Steven A: OK, there's no telling what this thing might do... You guys ready?

Aurocalypse:    Oh...    Oh geez...

...

-Puts up an SEP field and takes off his helmet to reveal an androgynous young man with large, dark-blue eyes with X-shaped pupils and messy platinum blonde hair with rainbow highlights.

???: Is there anything I can do to help? No, really! You two need it!

Noelle: Oh, um... well, we were trying to get the psychic trauma out of her head, but it hasn't been going so well.

Jenna: Hey! Aren't you forgetting someone else you need to help?

-To Steven A-

As ready as I'm going to be.

Psyche shrugs. ~I'm here, and I'm not totally sure doing away with it totally would leave me intact. I've done a lot of meditation and research. Basically, an asshole Beeheeyem inserted a psychotic alternate me, with a bunch of fucked up memories, into my head. But I think dealing with it completely will actively injure me due to how much I'm used to my psychic powers~

Blitz: "I was until you asked "

-He's taken a step back, just in case-

"But let's do it anyway"

...Get that thing at full power.

-Steven 1 nods and presses several buttons. The sensors start outputting more coherent data-

Steven 1: -looking at a date calculator- It keeps fluctuating straight from 150,000 to 50,000 and back...

Steven A: That can't be right, this thing is supposed to be as old as time...

-suddenly the reader locks at 150,000 and the screens in the lab all start projecting images-

-images of events about that long long ago in the exact same galaxy of people Tagg and Blitz may recognize-
