-As they land, Skye hops off of Zephyr's back, wobbling slightly but keeping her balance as she gets used to being on land again-
Skye: Uh, hi. We're kinda looking for someone. A girl, about this* tall, has a bad leg, been in a coma for six months, possibly atrophying by now?

The wind blows quietly. Ghost mons float through the air. A Gengar notices Tori and smirks. <You're in the wrong neighborhood to catch the next boat to the afterlife, sweet cheeks.>
Plains Island
The mons around poke their heads up. Whispers start.
The only words that can really be made out are <The devil girl...>
The Medicham straightens. <You would be better off not finding her.>

Zephyr: <"Devil girl" doesn't exactly sound promising, Skye.>
Skye: Okay, so... I guess that's a sign she's dangerous or something? Could you be a little more clear here, there's a bit of conflict between what we already know about her and the ominous disasters or whatever you're hinting at. Kinda need a bit of clarification here.

Skye: ...That, uh, didn't answer my question much, but good to know. We'll just head to one of the other islands to try to find her and get her off your hands. Since, y'know, it sounds like she's a bit of a hassle for you.
Zephyr: <Uh, question, any idea why her mind essence signals or whatever are coming from all four islands, even the ones she's not on like this one? Or is it just as much a mystery to you as to us?>

Just try not to think about the fact you're practically a ghost and talking to ghost types without a translator...

The Medicham grimaces. <She is quite powerful. Even having been off this island for several months, there aren't enough minds here to force her essence to scatter. It has created a foul presence, making most of my charges very nervous.>

The Gengar blinks. <Another human ghost? I have not seen any more through here in quite some time. You would be better served looking for your friend at a gravesite. ...Unless you're looking for someone to haunt. I may be able to help with that. o3o>

The Gengar shrugs. <Not particularly. That's why I was confused. There aren't a lot of humans out here, so there's no reason for any to pass by on the way to Mt. Pyre. We do get the odd one lost from Pacifidlog Town though. Though as for a living friend having problems waking up... Hmm, there was one girl who came through here. Her Psychic mons were scared of us though and rightfully got the hell out of dodge. Actually... she reminded me of a ghost that floated through here a few years ago. Said she was lost, trying to find the Celestial Tower? I said, lady, you're waaaaaaay off, about two regions off that way.>

The Medicham shrugs. <They teleported. I couldn't tell you which direction they went. But I do know they stank of ghosts, so they probably came from the Rocky Island over in that corner.>

Zephyr: <If her teams the least bit sensible, they wouldn't be headed back to the place with the ghosts, so that'll be our last place to check.>
Skye: What can you tell us about the other islands? There's this one with you all, and then the one with the ghosts, so what's the deal with the other two?

The Gengar shrugs again. <Hell if I know, they teleported. If I had to wager a guess, probably the Meadowy place. It's pretty lush. Nice place to sleep. Or be buried. You know, whatever floats your boat.>
Plains Island.
The Medicham points to the Jungle Island. <The Jungle is teeming with life... and death. Many large mons, not a lot gets to rest there. Unless you're planning to make it eternal, of course. That said, if your friend likes the trees, they're typically safe. The Meadow is arguably worse. Barren, save many flowers. It's eerily quiet. Souls float from it to the rocks every now and then. No one knows what happens there...>
